Great primer!
I had to repair a badly broken fiberglass radiator shroud. This was the perfect prime to give this project a beautiful surface to paint. The primer bonded well and easily filled 40 grit scratches. I am very pleased. Acetone works great to cleanup the spray gun and thin out the primer. I didn’t need to thin it out and got a nice spray pattern.

High Build is the way to go!
I have used Eastwood Contour for years it lays on great I usually reduce it with 3 oz of acetone to one quart of primer. Sands super easy and fills imperfections like crazy.

Polyester Primer
Works great! I needed a Paint Gun with a larger tip! 1.7 is not big enough to get the best results!

New hardener!!! DO NOT BUY
UPDATE 4/3/21: They switched from a liquid hardener to blue paste hardener like you would find with a can of Bondo. I called to confirm this wasn't a mistake and was told it was correct and that this was a change they made. I was further told to mix at the same 2%. I was cautious but I did it anyway, since I did call and did confirm. BIG mistake!!!! I sprayed the stuff and it never hardened. It stayed gummy. I know what you're thinking. He didn't mix it enough. I mixed and mixed to the point I was worried I was cutting into my pot life. The blue tint of the paste was evenly dispersed in the mix and nothing was coming up when I scraped around the bottom and brough the stick up.They took an amazing product and destroyed it. I am unbelievably mad as I now have to start over stripping down a huge part, and start over to make it level with the parts that attach. I just lost weeks of work, all so some warehouse manager could save from having to stock an extra item. When I called for a refund, I was told that their tech support kept telling their product manager that the two hardeners weren't the same and wouldn't work, but the product manager insisted that they were the same thing. NOBODY apparently tested this.....Original Review:I purchased this to level out the a piece of custom furniture I was building that would receive an automotove finish. For reference I was spraying through a Fuji Turbine gun with a 1.8mm nozzle. I tried the larger 2.5mm and it just spit material in globs. a 1.8 with 5% acetone per the instructions was perfect. The build was really good. When I ran out I bought some featherfill from a local supplier and it wasn't as good. This seems to build much more with each coat, even with acetone mixed in, vs featherfill, which is natually thinner, sprayed straight out of the can. It sands pretty good as long as you don't trap solvents. I let mine cure for about half a day before sanding. The extra time seemed to help it harden up. I was mixign by weight using a preciion scale so I know I got the mix perfect. The only down side I would say is that it goes much quicker than you would think. I woldn't bother with a quart for any project. Go straight to a gallon. I will buy again.

Good fill primer
I've used this polyester primer in the past. Despite the claims of being direct to metal, I personally do not put it over bare metal. I recommend using a sealer over any bare metal. It does fill scratches and minor imperfections satisfactorily. If you're new to polyester type fill primers, let it thoroughly dry before block sanding for best results.

Thick and block-sands beautifully
Very good stuff. Does wonders for uneven surfaces.

Does the job of filling scratches
First shipment was returned by shipper for damage. Second one made it. Item does what it is suposed to do. Fills in sand scratches and small pits on repairs. Works well for blocking flat surfaces. Pot life is as described, so be ready to spray right after it is mixed.
