Expensive, but can't be beat in terms of functionality. The sticky surface prevents it from falling when the weather gets cold, and it has a great low profile design.

I needed a good mount for my Radar Detector. I review many until I came across this one. The quality is good; it was very easy to install as it fit perfect. I have had this on the windshield for a few days right now and I am sure it will stay there a long time. Very good suction. This is a really good mount!!

Works great but is painfully overpriced. This was the only mount that I could use that let me attach an Escort M2 dashcam to my Uniden r8.

This is an OEM Uniden mount used for the Uniden R7 with Mithheru custom firmware. The original mount lasted a little over 3 years in a hot climate almost year around. IMO, it's a little pricey, but also IMO is probably better than after market so I bought another one. The center pin (which is hidden), like the rest of the mount is plastic and is what ends up failing. FWIW, the aftermarket mounts seem to fail there also. The only metal is the part that slides into the R7. Adjustability and stickiness are good as it's never once fallen off the windshield until it broke. I take the detector down when I park and for overnight and fortunately in my case the detector was not mounted when it fell. Would have been 5 stars if the center pin was more durable/heat resistant.

Nothing beats these OEM radar detector holders. Tried a few other aftermarket radar detector brackets out and was not impressed. Paid the little extra and got another one of these that are exactly like what come with my Uniden R8.
