WOW! I wanted a bedroom fan, and now, I must admit, I am thinking of replacing my living room fan as well!! That is because this fan is such a great value! People, this is made by WESTINGHOUSE!!!! This is not a copy cat item, or a cheap product out of China! No! A genuine old fashioned 'American Value' type of 'made before the war' thing we rarely see these days! One gets a solid value here. Five blades, with a pleasing shape, like palm blades, easy on the eye, and the motor is hardly noticeable at all. The hubby and I can enjoy the television without extra volume. Unlike other writers, I must say, the light provides plenty of light for the room as well. We were well pleased! Our current living room fan is a glaring thing with 3 bulbs that causes us to turn it off ASAP....we hate it! THIS fan has a soft light that is NOT glaring at all, yet provides a soft light that never causes any distress to the eye!This was my husbands first fan to install as well. He accomplished the entire thing in less than 45 minutes. He did the entire job completely alone, too. Complete instructions were included. We were so thrilled when we turned the breaker and the fan and light worked just as promised...this is a great value, you won't be sorry! ENJOY!

We like the appearance of the fan and it works well. It seems to be of good quality. We hired an installer to set up the fan and would think this would be a difficult nstall for an inexperienced diy.

Recently installed this fan on my outdoor patio. It works perfect and it's super stable and quiet. It doesn't wobble at all (and if it does you probably didn't install it properly), and I can't hear it operate even when I'm sitting right under it with the fan on high. It also moves a good amount of air. I really have no complaints about this fan. It looks great on my patio and I'd recommend it to others.(Note: I did have an issue with the fan missing a part needed for the install, but I called the seller and they sent me a replacement fan. The second fan had a broken glass light fixture. So the manufacturer's quality control left a little to be desired, but once I finally got all the parts and the fan installed I was very happy with it.)

I love the look of this fan. It goes perfectly with my décor at our lake house. It was fairly easy for my husband to install (he is an excellent handyman so it may be more complicated for someone that's not real handy). The quality of the fan is good and I really like the overall look of the palm leaves with the light. My only negative comment would be that it does not give off much light. You can only use a small 60W bulb and it's not very bright. I use the light from the fan along with a table lamp to give me enough light in the room I have it installed in. The fan provides a good amount of air in the room. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase despite the light not being very bright.

We purchased this for over our patio table to help cool it off during the hot summer days and just get a little air movement! Not only does it look great, but it gives the feel of a tropical paradise. It does not shake when the fan is on, and the light gives off plenty- you could read under just fine. I love the yellow toned globe, it cuts off the harshness a light can give. Over all I would say its great. It was easy to install and it looks amazing! It was just what I was looking for. The price was just right as well.Cons: Amazon took forever to ship it. The light bulb it came with was burned out when we got it.

Put up on my rear patio. Liked the style, fan blades seem to be made to be able to withstand the humid weather here in the south. Some of the directions weren’t the clearest though.

This fan is OK. I had my fan professionally installed in the flush mount configuration. This puts the fan at a safe level on my 8' ceiling (with the decorative wire bracket installed below the globe, the bottom of the fan/light kit is about 17.5" from the ceiling) The blades are plastic and look like they are. I guess plastic blades will be less likely to warp than wooden ones, so that may be somewhat of a positive. The light is dim, and the socket size is for a small chandelier bulb, but at least it is a screw-in, not a pin-type socket. My main issue with the fan is that the fan speeds are not that much different. The speeds are "way too fast," "too fast," and "fast." There is no "very slow, barely moving the air, speed" which is something that I occasionally like. I usually operate it at its lowest speed, which is tolerable. The fan motor makes a humming noise as it winds up from "off" to whatever speed to which it is set, but the motor noise level becomes very low once the fan achieves that speed level. I am not that happy with it, but who sends back a ceiling fan that one has already paid to be installed? I guess if I had installed it myself, I would be even less likely to take it down, box it up,m and send it back.
