Hooke Road Wrangler YJ TJ Bumper Combo Front + Rear Bumpers with D-Rings & Receiver Hitches Compatible with Jeep Wrangler YJ TJ 1987-2006

Install was a breeze. Packaging is less than desirable. They pack the middle perfectly but the edges WHERE IT COUNTS is the first to get damaged in transit. Its a solid purchase and I'm glad I bought the set. I'll see if I can contact Hooke for touch-up paint.

Fit was good, bolted on easily. Came with small powder coat damage on edge, but looked like Fed Ex dropped it multiple times. Looks great once touched up.

Well made. Bolt holes don't line up for TJ, which is what I ordered for. Will have to re-tap and through bolt.

When I removed the rear bumper from box (minor damage to bumper due to delivery company) the bumper looked very good. The instructions looked simple, 8 bolts. We put the 4 outside bolts on, then realized the gas tank has to be removed to install the driver side 2 of the remaining 4 bolts. Instructions said nothing about this. 97 TJ. I'll update after installing the front bumper. If it wasn't for the instructions failing to include gas tank issue, I'd give the rear bumper 5 stars. Update: Front bumper took normal time and was easy to install. Bolt holes lined up as they should, which I've had some bumpers not line up. Both bumpers looked better in person than in photos. For dropping the gas tank, Hooke Road responded fast and looked into it. Not all TJ's have this issue, mine does. So far, well worth the price and quality!! Winch install update: Very little room to install the winch while bumper is mounted, which it's always easier to install a winch before putting the bumper on. The fairlead needs to go on first, the bolt needs to be ran backwards (from the winch side) because the bolt hits the winch, at least Smittybilt. The bolt head is still mm from touching the winch, a little more room would be nice, and this is sliding the winch back in the bolt slots. Overall I'm happy with the bumpers, still would prefer not dropping the tank for the rear bumper bolts (2 of them). Ready to hit the trails and see how they hold up. Have not connected the lights yet to say how bright they are. Will be soon.

Arrived in separately Seemed packed well. the front bumper arrived 2nd there were a few spats where it had broke through the packing but no damage. Back bumper had holes for 10 bolts but my jeep only had holes for 6. bottom holes didn't align i will need to grind the holes to get them to fit. lights were wired into backup lights circuit they work very well seem plenty bright for the size. you will need a spare tire re-locator of some kind with this bumper. Front bumper went on easily all holes aligned with very minor adjusting. one AUX light mount tab was slightly bent it was leveled quickly with an adjustable wrench. Lights were tied in to the fog light circuit. they were much brighter than original fog lights. Over all very satisfied with these units. I haven't tried to winch anything yet. I will report back if I have any problems.

I ordered this combo package for a 2004 Jeep TJ to replace some tubular bumpers. The front bumper arrived first. The packaging needs to be reevaluated, as the sharp corners punch through the packaging causing three things: 1. Damage to the ends of the bumper, and 2. Loss of the hardware to secure the product, and 3. slight damage to rear lights and loss of retaining bolt. I reached out to the help desk, and they immediately sent replacement hardware and D rings, although I did not know about the rear light damage until I had the bumper mounted. I found a replacement fastener for the light, so no big deal. Both items are solid, but the rear bumper is pretty impressive in the thickness of the metal. It was much sturdier than I anticipated. The lights are acceptably bright and easy to wire into the relay I had for previous lights. They talk a lot about the layers of protection, but all layers were worn off of three corners, out of 4. I painted over with flat black, and no big deal, as it is a bumper...but if the packaging were redesigned, this damage would probably not occur. I had no problems with alignment to existing holes and would recommend them to other Jeep owners. They look impressive, and I am confident that they will hold up to significant impact.

They had scratches on them on both ends and other places The paint was coming off of them ,rust was sitting in on them. I won't buy them again
