Replacement Steel Damper Valve Plate, 36" Vestal, 28.5" X 7"

I converted both of my fireplaces to gas logs. Unfortunately due to the age, both fireplaces had no drafts in them. After some searching, I found this damper was appropriate to seal my fireplaces. They fit the area perfectly and provided a tight seal. I also like that if I converted back to needed a vent, I can open them. Very high quality and made to last!

I bought an apartment with a wood burning fireplace, for some unknown reason the prior owners removed or didn't have the damper in the flue, so cold air was rushing into the living room. I patched the area with a cardboard box, measured, ordered this, and installed the day it arrived. Works perfectly, good solid metal damper which should have been there in the first place. If you need it, you need it. This is a VERY specialized item, but if it is what you need, you really need it. Arrived on time and was a perfect fit.
