I took a risk and ordered this for my WoodTek model 907064 (which isn't specifically listed but is another Taiwanese jointer) and it fit perfectly. The cutterhead is machined very nicely, packaged extremely well, and even includes Japanese Nachi bearings. Installation was simple. Driving the bearings on to the cutter only took a few minutes with a mallet and some tubing that fit around the shaft and sat on the inner bearing race. You don't need a shop press for this one. I've used it on ash, walnut, and pine. It is a fantastic improvement over the original three knife cutter that the machine came with. Cuts are much quieter and the cut is extremely smooth.

Easy to install. I have an off brand grizzly/jet clone (wheeled beds) and the new Cutterhead slipped right in. I did need to use a gear pulley to remove the bearings but that was a $25 tool at Napa so no biggie. It’s quieter, cuts better, and is easier on my dust collector. Great quality!

I got this to upgrade my old G1018 jointer. It seems that every time I sharpened the blades, the next piece of wood I put on there had something that would cause a nick in the blades. The process was not straight-forward. I ended up having to replace the pulley because the old one would not fit on the new head. I also had to replace the belts on the jointer, but they were in need of replacement anyway. It took over a week to do this upgrade, and I'm not sure it was done correctly as there is now a lot more rattle in the jointer. But, the cuts are very smooth!

Works great and a definite upgrade over straight knives. Installation wasn't too bad and got it done in an hour or so.

For the faint of heart for installations, this is not simple. For the woodworkers looking for a bargain, order this cutterhead. I put one on a 15" Grizzly planer and the results are so smooth, I almost don't have to sand. Just ordered the same for my jointer. Don't hesitate. the results are crazy good!
