Amazing Robo Vac. Must Buy!!!
I've been looking at these robo vacs for some years now but couldn't decide on one. Most recently the need for one has increased with having a toddler who finger feeds himself, his whole plate ends up on the floor. I decided to go with the Amrobt because of the vacuum/mop capabilities and boy does it work great! After my kids are done eating I now have the flexibility of moving on to the next thing, whether it be washing their dishes, changing diapers or playing with them. It now doesn't include sweeping and mopping the floors because this beauty does it for me with a push of a button. We have a lot of carpet(95%) to wood(5%) transition in our home and it doesn't have trouble moving through each area. The Amrobt works so well my husband wants to buy a second for the lower level.Using the mop function is a piece of cake and we didnt remove the water tank before letting it go free on the carpet, after it had finished mopping, and it still performed at it's best. Its also pretty quiet, especially on the carpet. I will be buying 2 more of these as gifts. Absolutely amazing!

Awful, take your money elsewhere
The media could not be loaded. Doesn’t work whatsoever. Brushes pop off, doesn’t follow any type of regular pattern, changes cleaning modes on its own. Mopping attachment makes it even more unusable. I can’t think of anything this robot does right, maybe had half of a successful run before completely losing its mind. Now we are unable to do anything but do donuts in reverse, THIS IS A COMPLETELY FAULTY INEFFECTIVE PRODUCT DO NOT BUY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I will be returning ASAP.

A little dumb for a smart robot, but lovable anyway
We had a rough first day. Amrobt has exactly two emotions: busy working, and "ding-dong!" The first day was full of ding-dongs as I attempted to decipher what the heck it was ding-donging about.Tip: Install the mobile app and connect it to the app. Then you'll get actual error codes that will save you from pulling out your hair because Amrobt keeps whirring in place before ding-donging. (In my case, it turns out that it had rolled a lot of hair around one end of the brush roll and it wanted it cleaned.)Once you do that, you should be fine, as long as you make sure to seal off any precarious parts of your house as if you had a small child, and remain nearby to help Amrobt should it crawl under a nightstand and then get stuck in between its four legs.Amrobt is not especially bright, maneuvering around mostly by trial and error, but it gets the job done in areas with a lot of open floor. It pulled a whole bin full of dust out of my living room on the first run--I have no complaints about its suction, for sure. At the end of the day, it's a strangely lovable awkward little robot vacuum. With a price point comparable to a good vacuum that requires more manual effort, I think it's ultimately a good deal.Update: It turns out that Amrobt has a hard time with being connected to Wi-Fi. For starters, it doesn't reliably enter pairing mode. Worse, it disconnects from the Wi-Fi network easily, requiring you to re-pair it. And even worse than that, it occasionally does something weird on the network... I noticed lag spikes in my video games until I turned Amrobt off. So now that I have to switch the robot on and off manually, that's a huge hit to its convenience. I've docked it a star.Update 2: I may have been wrong in blaming Amrobt for my lag spike issues. However, getting it paired with wifi is still a pain, and it doesn't seem to accept scheduling through the provided remote. Now that the novelty of a robot vacuum has worn off, I find myself rather infrequently remembering to tell it to clean, and I'm annoyed at having to clean its roller brush three times per house clean. I think 3 stars is still fair.

Great buy for the money .. Amrobt vac works Great!!
So after ready the reviews, I went ahead and made the purchase. For 160 bucks what more could you ask for? I've had it for a few days now, set the schedule and every morning its has the house clean. Is it the smartest robot vac probably not, does it function well yes. App worked 1st time, but not out after that... I haven't tried setting it up again, no need ... it does it all by itself, + it has a remote. The moping is more like a dust mop. If I were them I would make a swiffer style cloth that's pre wet with cleaner and you just use a new one everytime. I was sceptical that it would get the whole floor. There I stood watching it zig zag the whole floor, then it started the edging. It got everything. We have vinyl plank flooring and it does great. The only issue was our kitchen rugs, the thick foam style, it doesn't like them, so before bed I pick those up and it cleans perfectly. Small comprise for a clean floor everyday! packages was very nice, water tank and cloth are in the box, on the side in a cardboard sleeve. Requires 2 AAA batteries for the remote. Other reviewers say it has a hard time finding home... not mine always finds the charger. If I would change anything, Motors could be a bit stronger and then the rugs would be no problem. Great entry level robot vacuum.

Works ok on hard wood but not good on carpets or rugs.
(1) no matter what I tried it will not take scheduled time. (2) This thing will not climb on rugs no matter how short they are. It often gets stuck at the border of carpet and is super annoying. Even if you re-route, it seems to want to go back to the same spot and it gets super frustrating. The point of a robot vacuum is to have regular scheduled cleaning with minimal attention. This unit fails on both of that. (3) Only twice in my use did this unit find its base and docked itself for recharge. Every other time I find drained of battery some corner of my house. (4) the bin has no latch and is pressed closed. This makes it harder to open as it has no latch, and you have to put your nail into the hairline crack and pry it open. This could leave you with a mess if you are not careful. (5) the sounds this vacuum produces are similar to a doorbell. Whose dumb idea was that? Whether the vacuum gets stuck, docking or charging it makes this ding-dong sound similar to a doorbell. And it gets annoying very quick. Overall, I am dissatisfied with this product. On the positive note: it does look shiny and well packaged.
