Good quality at good price if you don't mind filling it on your own
Arrived earlier than expected and fits just right in my office/workout room. Material seems to be high quality. I went with this unfilled Outslayer bag rather than other cheaper bags assuming it would live up to its reputation of quality materials and durability and so far I'm not disappointed. The vinyl, straps, stitching and D-rings appear to be high quality both inside and out. I was a little concerned about filling the bag, but in the end am happy I made the choice to save some money and get an unfilled bag. In my case I had a lot of old clothing laying around I needed to clear out as well as some old blankets, comforters and quilts. It takes a lot of material to fill, so if you don't have a similar amount of filling easily available you'll need to get some or follow the suggestions in other reviews. The bag comes with a list of ideas of easy to aquire filling materials, too. I filled my bag with old clothing, sheets and blankets. I removed all the buttons and zippers from the clothing and used a knife to cut the larger items into smaller strips to avoid odd bulges or soft spots in the bag once it was packed down. While filling the bag I gave up on using a long broom handle to pack the material down and just stuck my foot down in the bag every little bit to compress the packing material. This got more difficult the more full the bag got, but when it got taller it was easier to reach in and compress it by hand. I don't want more than the weight of the fabric, the bag's already 6ft tall, so compressing the way I did created a consistent striking surface that is plenty firm and has plenty of inertia without being too heavy for my stand. I'm using my selec-tec weights as counter balance and it stays put just fine. I'm assuming I might need to add some fill material as it all settles over time. Overall I'm pleased.

Heavy duty, professional quality, great buy
Purchased hanging hardware w/ spring, floor bag, and 6’ bag. Shipping was fast on all components. Came well packaged and damage free (I did accidentally crease it unpacking it leaving 2 tiny stretch marks in the vinyl). The stitching is overdone in a good way, the hardware looks like they are for tractor pulls, and the vinyl has a grid interwoven in some way that makes it appear highly durable. Filling it took 9 hours over 3 days, but was worth it. I used every manner of household material cut into 2”x5” strips. I cut a 2x4 to a good length for my ceiling for the first 3/4, then used an axe handle to do the top. Well worth the effort, weighed in at 120 lbs and is almost rock hard (just enough give to be uncomfortable but not break things). If you want the 150 lbs, go for the filled version, they probably use a press of some sort or all denim equivalent material or something. Great buy, would recommend.

Awesome Muay Thai bag.
It's been year now and the bag is still like new. I use it for personal training only, however, used without care. Even its logo hasn't faded away. This is a grate product. Highly recommended. I fill it up too times as it stretches a little bit. Other than that.....all worth it.

Perfect upgrade in quality and functionality.
This Bag is great, it arrived in a small package. Having had ripped and beat down two EVERLAST bags with kicks(because I doubt my punches caused it to fall), I had enough sand bags, and filling to fill it to at least 160 lbs, however I didn't want to make it that heavy, so filling it yourself can be a very good thing, because you're allowed to play with the weight and material you want in it, and it allows you to gain insight into which material is best for you to hit. Anyhow I finished filling this bag up last night and hung it up at just about the right height, and have only been able to strike it lightly since it was about 11pm, i was so excited about finishing that day that i spent the day on it. QUALITY: The main difference that I can tell about this bag is the material used, and the straps holding it up. The 4 four straps that hold bag up to the ceiling, chains, etc, is attached to another weight distributing belt that hugs the upper half of the bag which makes for a great bond/hold. My EVERLAST bags didn't have this feature, and that's exactly where they had ripped. When i strike the bag I notice that I didn't have any hard parts that cripple my knuckles or shins, because I dictated what went into the bag. AND ON TOP OF THAT, OUTSLAYER, sent my directions on how to fill a punching bag: Insulation, clothes, rubber bits, etc, and that helped alot, because I ran out of stuffing at some point. It comes with a ten year warranty which i wish my everlast bags came with, because those pieces of crap broke in less than 3 months for both. If you have the patience and creativity (something I hope a fighter, and amateurs alike have, especially since they're practicing a discipline) then this bag is perfect, makes for a great learning experience, and one hell of an achievement to fill your own bag. Purchase this bag if you have the money, and want a higher quality bag; it was only $20 more than the everlast bags.

Good Choice
This is a very sturdy and durable heavy bag with heavy duty D-rings. The zipper on top for filling the bag is pretty small and makes it hard to fold the bag down to fill it. But I am sure there is a purpose for the size of the hole on top. Great product though.

Bag is very difficult to fill buyer be aware!
I got this bag about a week and a half ago and i have to say it stands up to use outside i cant say how long its going to last for certain but i can tell you its a damn good bag for its price. The only problem i find with it is the bag opening where u stuff it ;Its a very tiny opening makes it very difficult to properly put sandbags and cover that with clothing if you plan on using that method. For me i would take sand and put them in sandwich bags and double bag them 1 bag inside another.Since its a small hole its really hard to see what you are doing and where the sandbags are locationwise so making sure its in the center and not on the side is difficult.I had to empty the clothing and restuff it 3times before getting it perfect.Be aware of that and when u are stuffing the bag make sure to have gloves on because the reinforced straps have lining inside that is very rough material it will tear your hands! But besides that its a good bag after u fill the bag with clothing and have it settle it feels like it would last someone for a long time if u take proper care of it.Tip after filling it with clothing a easier way then pressing it down with a bag is hanging it and hitting it and then stuff more as it falls to the bottom.Repeat process several times for a even fill

Great bag...the best way to fill it imo.
This bag is awesome and I am going to tell you the best way to fill it. I have tried the carpet roll...cut up sheets with sand bags etc. Don't waste your time. The bag came out lumpy and had hard spots every time. Here is what worked for me. Go to Home Depot or Lowes or wherever and get the following; 1. square of AttiCat Fiberglass Expanding Blown-in Insulation http://www.homedepot.com/p/Owens-Corning-AttiCat-Fiberglass-Expanding-Blown-in-Insulation-System-L38A/100541755 not the other stuff. Don't be alarmed by fiberglass. I will explain why later 1 or 2 50 lb bags of play sand, dust mask, Ziplock gallon slider plastic bags Have on hand, a small push broom or something else with a long handle and about 4" to 6" wide at the bottom, a bed sheet, any grocery store plastic bag. This is going to take a little while but well worth it. Put on your dust mask. unwrap the insulation from the vacuum seal plastic wrap only about 2" to 3" inches at a time, Don't worry about fiberglass. It seems to be mixed in with other material and did not irritate my skin. The opening to the heavy bag is only about 8" wide and is in the center of the top of the bag. Do not break apart the insulation prior to putting it in the bag. Grab as much insulation as will fit through the opening and start filling the heavy bag. after about 8" or about 5 minutes fill 2 Ziploc slider bags with about 5lbs of sand each and try to get them in the middle of the bag. Take a pillowcase and tie it around the end of the broom as to not pull out insulation in the next step. Stuff your bed sheet into the grocery store plastic bag and tie it off. Stuff the sheet filled bag into the heavy bag and shove down about 6" With your long handle broom, shove all the insulation down as far as it will go. Place the bottom, of the bag against a wall and pull on the bag straps as the handle is pressed against your midsection creating resistance. If uncomfortable, place something flat but sturdy between the handle top and your abs. Repeat the above process as many times as necessary until full. Hang the bag up and fill 2 or 3 more Ziploc slider bags completely with sand...about 10 lbs. or so each and put the sand weights in the very top of the stuffing and zip up your bag. What is great about this stuff is that it doesn't break down and settle at the bottom of the bag. It feels like stuffed animal stuffing. In a day or two the sand weights will push your stuffing down further, remove the sand weights and repeat filling process to desired fullness. Repeat the sand weight process until you reach your desired level of sturdiness. There you go. The process worked best for me. It's long and tedious but you only have to do the entire process once and there should be no hard spots as long as you got your 5lb Ziploc slider bag sand weights in the middle of the stuffing when filling the bag. Hope it helps When its all said and done, your bag should weigh about 120lbs.

Maybe a little tough to fill, but sturdy.
So the worst thing about this bag is that there's a single zipper at the top that you open up to put your stuffing in, and the hole is kind of small so it's a minor hassle to get the stuffing in, or get whatever packing implement (like a bat or whatever) in there to pack the stuffing down. It's not really a problem at all, though. I'd give filling the bag maybe 4 stars, but the bag itself is great. The leather straps that the bag hangs from seem pretty sturdy, and the d-rings on them are really thick, which I appreciate since my last bag had crappy welds on thin d-rings and that ended up breaking, then ripping the straps. This isn't the cheapest bag on the market but I expect to get a long life out of it. It's a sturdy, high-quality bag.
