Great pump for liquid cooling system
I am using this water pump for a Peltier chip cooling system. This pump can only lift water 12 inches (30 cm) but, in a closed system - circulates 2 liters a minute. A closed loop system routes water from the output of the pump to the input, so gravity is not an issue. So, this pump makes a poor open loop (pumping up from a bucket) pump but an excellent closed loop pump. This is the smallest pump I could find and fits in my project.

Pump only worked for 1 hour!
I bought two of these pumps to feed water to plants. Worked great for about 1 hour of cycling the pump on and off. After that the pump completely stopped working. This happened for both pumps I bought! These are not reliable and I would not recommend for any home projects.

Not good for small fountains
Bought this for a small table top fountain. Way too powerful. pushes the water outside the fountain reservoir and all over the table. There is no adjustment to turn it down. This would probably be a great pump for a larger fountain. Only reason I gave it three stars is because it did not work for me. Super small and way too powerful for smaller fountains.

The second one worked
Bought this for my little garden fountain. First one burnt out within a day. Got a replacement ordered and it's been running wonderfully ever since.

Tiny and Quite Pump, Great
The media could not be loaded. The water pump works great for the cat's water dish. Good flow for its mini size. The fountain is larger than the old one. Much cheaper than what I bought in a local hardware store. Two wires with different colors, the red one is connected with the positive electrode, and the black for the negative. It’s also easy to use and clean.

Good pump, while it lasts
Impeller shaft started wearing oblong after Roughly 50 hours. After 100 hours impeller starts to randomly stop because of the extra play.

Tiny perfect size
For my little water fountain, it works well so far and can be hidden in a tiny space with ease.
