Allergy Research Group Quercetin Bioflavonoids - Lemon Bioflavonoid Complex, Rutin, Citrus Extract, Hesperidin, Vegetarian Capsules - 100 Count

I bought this and I have no idea what it does and if it’s actually doing anything. Tastes okay though.

At the beginning of this pandemic my sister suggested I start taking quercitin to help support my immune system and now my whole family takes it.

This product was amazing for any sinus allergies. I would take it, and stuffy nose and head would clear up in no time. However, for a company that calls itself ALLERGY Research group, they should know better than putting ANY product in a capsule that has record of allergy response in people. The Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose capsule - better known as hypromellose is partially synthetically made so I just found out, and has been shown to cause reaction including anaphalaxysis when used in cataract surgery, and in some cases allegy responses where it is used as artificial tears. But personally, I am super sensitive for any kind of chemicals, additives, gelatins, etc. it was causing me systemic inflammation and bloating. I could not figure this out forever, because I never expected this to happen in my body with quercetin! So I kept taking more quercetin to calm the inflammation, and it kept getting worse. Again, mystified.... then I tried an elimination diet- which is a joke because my diet is already so restricted. It came down to this product, and then I 'tested' by adding back a couple of my other Allergy Research Group supplements - ALL Containing hypromellose. If you are sensitive or have MCS, or don't know why you are suffering inflammation - switch this out - use Pure Encapsulations, who seems to stay away from this. The quercitin worked great, if the rest of it wasn't so toxic to my system. Buyer Beware!!!!

I wasn't getting much relief from my anti-allergy pills until I added the Quercetin to my daily regimen. The difference was unbelievable and became even better after a few days of taking it twice a day.
