Full Throttle Infant/Child Under 50lbs Character Life Vest

My daughter just turned 2 and she's about 30 lbs and this fit her great. I thought she would hate it but she didn't fuss at all when I put it on her and wore it a whole weekend at a lake on a the boat. It kept her face up no matter what and I felt she was extremely safe. The only thing is the strap that goes between her legs rubbed a little red spot on the side of her leg next to the bathing suit but the toddler size life jackets need that strap between the legs so they can't slip out so I don't see much of a way around that. It probably wouldn't do that on a boy with longer swim shorts. The fish design is very cute and great for a boy or girl. Also the handle at the top of the neck piece does come in handy besides being able to pull them out of the water in an emergency . She tripped on the dock and almost busted her face but daddy's quick reflexes grabbed that handle and saved the fall! The piece behind her head also served as a great pillow, she got very comfy and napped on the boat!

I am almost 100% happy with this. I picked the type with extra head support because obviously this vest is for a small child (2year old). I love that it flips him up and over. This will keep your child's head out of the water. However, he can swim some. This is very prohibitive from him swimming. It keeps him so far tilted back, he is like a turtle on his back. It deserves a 5 star because this vest obviously does its job in water and it is brightly colored and easy to spot. I'm a mother of multiples and so I have all my smaller children wear life vests around water because I can become distracted by constant demands of toddlers. If you are buying it for that reason, be aware.

I have a chunky toddler and this PFD fit much better than the several other brands I tried. Finding a PFD with head support that fit a little bit bigger kid was hard, but this fit. My son is 20 months and weighs 29 pounds. He will be able to wear this at least through next spring, possibly longer.

Extremely bulky & was very uncomfortable for my child. Moreover, it made sitting & walking difficult for my toddler. In fact, my toddler tipped over many times due to the vest. However, the vest did work as intended-each time my child fell over he would end up floating on his back with his head supported by the pillow on back of vest. My son cried each time he had to wear it. We used it for a trip to an indoor work park with slides, wave pool, etc for a 3 day trip.For reference, my son is 15 months, 24 pounds, 30” tall & doesn’t have much of a neck at this age.

I bought this for my 20 month old daughter who is about 30 pounds to wear when we went in the water at a lake. This is HORRIBLE as a safety device! No matter what we did we couldn’t let go of her because it immediately flipped her face down on her belly with her face UNDER WATER!!! WTH!?!?! How is that safe!?!? This is supposed to be a lifesaving device. I wanted to be able to have her wear it when we went out on the boat in case she fell in the water because it’s supposed to save her (make her float on her back until someone can pull her out) but this does the exact opposite!! This can DROWN YOUR CHILD!! Save your money. It’s also really bulky and she couldn’t move around in it on land/outside the water. The manufacturers should be ashamed! This is a complete hazard. I am terrified to think what could happen to a small child who was left even momentarily unsupervised because they could drown in seconds! We ended up taking it off and I just held her in my arms the whole time.

Used this while on a steam boat ride today. I sure wouldn’t say it was comfortable for my granddaughter, but it’s not really about comfort. I didn’t have to fish her out of the water, (thank God! ), but there’s a lot of foam to this vest, so I believe it would support her. It has a “pillow” for support of the head, and a strap that goes between the child’s legs to keep it from floating up and off their body if they’re in the water. Cute pictures made her happy to wear it! AND it has a couple of good handles on it. If the child was in the water, you could pull them to safety. I used them to keep her safely away from places a small child could sneak past and go overboard! Great buy!

Awesome life vest. Great weight range. Comfy. Head support. Used it on my 6 month old and 3 year old. Love the snap in the middle between the legs. Orange color easy to spot in a large body of water

Aunque le quedó a mi hijo desde los 10 meses, e impide que se hundan en el agua, es muy probable que queden en una posición muy incómoda si se usa antes del año. A partir de los 10 kilos ya se puede usar muy bien, ya que con ese peso quedará en mejor posición (no eleva tanto si torso, por lo tanto quedan en una posición más vertical). Los materiales y el diseño son y muy buenos y sin ningún problema.

Perfect size for my 30 lb 16-month-old. It’s very colourful as well, which I love about it. I’m a seamstress and the quality of this life vest is incredible. I don’t feel the stictching will come apart anywhere, which is important for safety purposes. I’m extremely pleased overall with this purchase.

Le quedó perfecto a mi bebé de 1.5 años, ajusta súper bien con el cierre y las cintas, lo uso en el mar y en los cenotes, el se sentía muy cómodo y yo muy segura.

lo compre para ms hijas, tal vez el diseño no es muy comodo, pero el chaleco salvavidas funciona eficientemente
