Perfection!
Bought 2 of the 25" Silhouette spinners (not Silhouette II) and used it in a recent trip. They are very well constructed and scores high on functionality. Zippers are excellent quality. The bag material and feel is quite good and inspires confidence. The spinner function makes these extremely easy to use (left us wondering why we waited this long to get one!). We had them at the 50lb capacity and they moved very easily with minimal effort on smooth surfaces (our 9 year old could easily move both of the fully loaded bags at the same time quite easily on smooth surfaces). They move easily on other surfaces as well (example, from the car park to the hotel). They do need a little more effort rolling over carpet, but quite easy to handle if you tilt them. Quite roomy inside, and space expandable with an additional zipper that lets out. Outside compartments has a very roomy front and a smaller but functional second compartment. We really liked the gel infused handles. Final word, love it for its convenience, functionality, construction and ease of handling. Recommend highly.

Awesome suitcase, light, EASY to maneuver!!!!!!!!
Love this well designed, LIGHT, easy to maneuver suitcase!!!! Bought this mid-size 25" model to use domestically for ease of wheeling. My old Briggs & Riley set is fantastic, but too heavy and does not have these FANTASTIC wheels!!!!! Samsonite truly hit the mark with their wheel design, sturdy, a bit larger than others, and protected in the design. Excellent suitcase, I will be buying the 29" soon!!!!!! The ONLY negative is for internal design, although it holds a lot and has option to expand, the handle takes up internal packing space. Seems to me that could have been put OUTSIDE the suitcase instead of inside. Zippers are well made and strong and they include a TSA approved small lock.

Easy to handle.
This is a very attractive and well-made suitcase. It's been on four trips, changed planes, been loaded onto and off of cruise ships, into car trunks, and rolled through several airports. The wheels work smoothly and it is easy to handle, although some airport's carpeted areas were a bit more difficult to maneuver as a spinner (in which case, it also operates well pulled along on two wheels). The color is quite nice and it still looks new. So many colors and fabrics start to look dirty after just a couple of flights, but this one still looks great. There are plenty of pockets inside and out to keep items segregated. I appreciate the interior waterproof pocket for a damp swimming suit or toiletries that might leak. My only concern is that the size is large enough that it could be easy to go over airline weight restrictions, so I need to be careful about that - maybe it's time to get a travel scale, too!

Lousy Warranty - Poor Design
Let's face it, Samsonite is more marketing and less quality. If your zipper breaks, it's not their fault.... that's simply bad quality. Their warranty is pitiful. If you spend this much money on a suitcase, the entire thing should be under full warranty for several years.Poor design - the face of the suitcase extends beyond the base of the wheels an inch or so. The face is the cover or lid where you open/close the suitcase. Samsonite has used this design for quite a few years now, but it's a lousy design. The fact is, the suitcase can become heavier on the side or face that extends over the wheels, which causes it to lean and easily tip. It doesn't always do this, it depends a bit on how things are packed, but the fact that you can pack it so that leans/tips easily is a rotten design. Finally the Spinners - forget wheels, this is the age of castors. Let's think about this.......while is sounds, and even works great on a hard smooth floor or thinly carpeted floor, that's not how all your vacation surfaces will be. It's hard to move on a plush carpet. It's hard to move on an uneven floor, say a handicap ramp with bumps for traction. The castors look cheap too. For the price what you should get is a suitcase you could push through NYC streets for a year and they work a hockey puck on fresh ice.The only plus here is the handle design. Finally something new and seemingly solid. The top and side handle designs are such that the handle sits under the material. The entire top is one piece of special nylon that covers the handle. The entire side is one piece of nylon that covers the handle. Explaining it doesn't work well, you'll have to look at the picture up close.A lot of money - for what is mostly marketing, poor design, and just so-so quality.

a little disappointed
A little but disappointed from my previous Samsonite spinner, the bag consistently wants to twist while trying to roll along, making it more difficult to walk with and uncomfortable on my hand while it twists the handle. Space inside is fine though I think I'd prefer a second mesh compartment versus the less expandable plastic compartment. The bag also seems more difficult to pull on carpet compared to my other Samsonite. Stability wise the bag sometimes does tip over without anything in the exterior pockets.

Light, Pretty, Free-wheeling Suitcase
I used this suitcase recently for the first time and loved it. It's pretty light and holds plenty for a long weekend & wheels easily in all directions. There are some zipper pockets on the outside of the suitcase. Two slim pockets exist inside on one side plus a large open space to pack lots in. At the bottom of the open space are a few ridges that I find useful to separate & keep items from slipping around. Also included are two handy suit carriers to hang and hold nicer clothing if you wish to use it. I used one which I laid on top of the rest of my packing within the large open space. I also used two zippered cloth compartments that I bought separately from Eagle Creek or someplace to carry undies and folded shirts.

Excellent and durable.
We have been using this for a couple of years and it is robust and has stood up to about a dozen trips with multiple connections so far. The wheels are great (easy to haul) and it is a very good size for meeting the 23kg limit for most flights.
