Perfect beginning feelings book
This exactly what I was looking for. After doing research, I couldn't find a book that strictly talked about what feelings are and that had a basic understanding. This is that book. I have a 3 year old that we want to get to start using feeling words to express himself. This is straight forward with cute pictures. I am not familiar with Ruby's Studio but you don't need to be to enjoy this book!

lovely book
I ordered this book for the two-year old when he was having a hard time expressing what he was feeling. This book was a great read at the end of the day to talk about how he feels throughout the day. There is a page that has different emotions that can be expressed and a picture to go with each emotion. When I go through it with him, we talk about examples of when he feels that particular emotion. An example would be when we get to the frustrated picture, we talk about how he gets frustrated when someone takes a toy away from him or when he doesn't always get what he wants at the time. The illustrations are child-friendly and he loves the dog in the book as well. Great book for all ages.

But my boys like the pictures and it starts the conversation
This is a cute book. It doesn't hit me quite right because she uses dialogue boxes, which are lost on my 2.5 year olds and it impacts the flow of the message. But my boys like the pictures and it starts the conversation, so it does what I'm looking for.

Cute, not entirely helpful if your child is older than maybe 3/4. Good intro into EQ for young children.

a great book for young kids
My 4 year old boy really likes when we read this book together. He like to say his feelings out loud and we really encourage it. Great way to share info on feelings.

Not our favorite
This book does not hold attention, mine or my children's. There must be better feelings books out there! Illustrations are also lacking.
