This item did exactly what it said it would do. The "tornado potato" (spiral) slice is perfect with even, consistent slices. The blue shrink wrap did take about 15 minutes to remove, but it was no big deal overall. The brace that holds the end of the produce did indeed shred a good but, but I simply rotated the potato by hand which was extremely easy to do. The slicer is a nice weight, not flimsy, and did not slip or move around during use. It was quick and easy to clean. I recommend this product after comparing it to a couple of other models which were not nearly as sturdy or efficient.

I purchased this item for my Dad and he liked it but when he took it out of the box it didn’t look new to me so I washed and cleaned it really good for him before using.

Don't come with clear instructions on how to use, I had to figure that out through trail and error. Don't use large potatoes and it should be good to go, but the potato like to come off the metal prongs that hold the potato steady while turning the handle. We my husband's help we figured it out.

Awesome, I bought 2 and just ordered another one. Many of the complaints I found rediculous. The one that said the paint was scratched, it was the plastic protector. It does have an instruction card that many are over looking . I highly recommend.

This product isn't worth the money. Waste of time. Very aggravating to operate. Bamboo stix break. Not impressed.

I love this item. I hated doing potatoes by hand and with this it makes things so much easier.

My kids buy the spiral potato every time we are at mall or night market. It’s costy for each stick. I am happy to find an actual machine to make the spiral potato at Amazon so how I can go pass it?? My order arrived on time for Mother’s Day and we tried on the party. We carefully removed the blue plastic wrapped around the machine since some reviewer said it gave them a hard time, with that said, it took about 7 minutes. The blade is sharp and it sliced the potato quickly. This kit also comes with few skewer sticks so you can try it right away. It’s not too heavy, solidly built, and very stable during use. It's easy to clean afterward too. My kids can enjoy their spiral potato any time now and it saves me big bucks!
