Pain-free Morning!
OK - I'm not waiting to write this review, because there may be others out there who are wondering if buying a mattress online is a good idea. Well, as far as THIS mattress goes, I will say absolutely yes.My husband and I were more than ready to replace our old Sleep Number queen bed. Initially we found a mattress we liked at a local store - for nearly $900.00. We were prepared to pay it, since we had spent a good amount when we bought the old bed, and we were upgrading to a king. The mattress and a very basic king platform bed came to about $1300.00, not including tax and delivery, and additional charge to take away old mattress if we wanted. (Also the mattress was only 8"). So we bit the bullet and paid the man.Now we did this completely backwards, so don't be idiots like we were, do it right the first time! We came home and decided that "just for kicks" we'd check Amazon. O...M...G! So, fortunately the local fellow let us cancel out the order we'd made earlier that day, and we went ahead and ordered this mattress. This plus a basic platform set us back only around $600.00 - so...clearly, the price difference is amazing. We chose this one because it is neither the cheapest nor most expensive, had good reviews overall and is made in the U.S.Last night was the first night we slept on it. And this morning - and I am not exaggerating - is the first morning in years that I got out of bed and NOTHING HURT! I am 63, have fibromyalgia and arthritis (have had 2 hip replacements) and although I don't let this stuff slow me down, I have to say mornings can be a bit of a bugger. This mattress has the perfect comfort level for us - it is plush enough that it does not create any pressure points, but it still is able to cradle and support the back and keep it properly aligned.Supposedly it takes up to a couple days for the mattress to fully expand, but even sleeping on it a couple hours after setup, it was awesome. We got the 14" thickness. It's just lovely. I am very sensitive to chemical smells, and there is none that I can detect from this mattress. How will it hold up? Well, I don't know, but honestly even if it only made it through half of its 10-year warranty, I'd feel I'd gotten my money's worth. All in all, a solid 5-stars from us. If you're considering this one, go for it. I don't think you'll regret it. Pleasant dreams!

Great mattress, great price, and it's even made in the USA!
We're very pleased with this queen-size mattress. I'd call it "firm," but the top layer is soft memory foam, making it quite comfortable. We have it on a platform bed (no box spring). Since we already had an "egg crate"-type mattress topper, we put that on top of it, which increases the softness. An adult family member has slept on it every night for over a month and finds it very comfortable. To me, it feels comparable to our Sleep Number bed (adjusted to be on the firm side).I know this company also makes thicker mattresses, some of which are supposed to be softer (ex.: "medium plush"). We chose this 6-inch-thick one, which only comes in "firm," mostly because it only weighs 40 pounds, and so will be easy for us to move around. (We purchased it for a bed that we may need to disassemble from time to time.) Another reason for our choice was that I read Amazon reviews written by folks who had researched memory foam mattresses in general, and they said supposedly a "firm" memory foam mattress holds up longer than the softer ones. We're glad we went with this one, as we find it supportive without being overly firm.We did not notice any odor to the mattress at all. This may be because of the reason the manufacturer states: since it is made in the USA, it is compressed for less time than those shipped from China, which results in less off-gassing.Overall, we are very happy to have purchased such a quality mattress at this low price point, and especially glad that it's made in the USA! Thanks, Dreamfoam Bedding! Keep up the good work!

I am very pleased with this mattress
I am very pleased with this mattress. I've been wanting a memory foam mattress for years but could never afford one. I did a lot of investigating before I decided to buy this. I wanted something made here in the US and I needed something affordable because I'm a single lady on a limited budget. I'm also in my 50's and I have hip and back problems from time to time. I wish I could say I got in on the reduced price for an honest review, but I didn't so ...yes, you're getting a very honest review. I can't say ANYTHING bad about this mattress. It's exactly what I wanted...comfortable, affordable, easy to handle. It's not a firm mattress but it's not soft either...just right in my opinion. I feel like a rich person in my luxurious bed and I'm actually a poor ole hard workin country gal. So I just want to say to all you poor hard workin people like me who are afraid to spend the money and then maybe not like this mattress....I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know there may be some who won't like it because there is with any product...but I can't honestly find anything wrong with it. I have it on top of my old mattress and box spring because I don't really know what to do. I get the impression you shouldn't put it on a boxspring and I don't want my bed to be too low so I just put it on top of everything...if I should do something else...please let me know Dreamfoam. My brother wants to buy 2 of these to put on his guest beds and I hope this review helps someone in trying to make up their mind. I know it's hard when you don't have much money but you really need something...and I love knowing I'm helping people here in the US survive and keep their job. Thank you!
