I was a L'Oréal girl until L'Oréal stopped making permanent hair colour. They call it permanent, but it washes out. It didn't used to do that. Black never washed out - ever. They also stopped putting expiration dates in the boxes. I started using this. It washes out, but it takes a lot longer, so my colour stays fresher longer. If you're like me and don't trust no one with your hairs this is the best brand to do your own. I've been using it a few years now. Nice colour and better staying power. It's not harsh on the scalp or hair.

Best box dye in my opinion. I have very thick hair and most box dyes do not take well to my hair. (Washes out after only a few weeks). Aside from having my hair done professionally this is probably the best quality box dye.

It colored my gray hair like no other home brands have done and made my hair silky shiny smooth. The black color I got was awesome. Everyone complimented me on my hair color. It didn’t fry my ends either (it has a solution that you put on your ends prior to coloring to help prevent this and it actually worked). It also didn’t burn my scalp like soo many others do. I’m pleasantly surprised. I read reviewers that didn’t like this product and others that did. It’s a trial and error thing for everyone I guess. It worked great for me. Definitely worth $10.

Best hair dye for black hair, it last longer compared to Garnier product, in the 1.0 true black color. it last around 2 months +++ and the dye is easy to remove from skin, you need a good wash under the shower, around 15 minutes wash you hair and your skin, the dye on skin will vanish fast. I really like this dye, you get a special application for your hair points, its called Serum, it is really healing the hairs in the process of dyeing them.

I really like this hair dye. For drugstore its one of the better ones. My hair always looks way healthier after use and it covers my stubborn greys really well. It also comes with a serum you use on your ends to help with damage. There are only two things I am not happy with. One it stains really bad and is harder to get off your skin than other hair dyes Ive used. The second is for the price you don't get as much product as other brands. Like with L'Oreal as a comparison one bottle was enough to cover my hair when it was down to the small of my back. I have my hair cut to just below my shoulder blades and I just have enough to cover the roots and a thin layer on the ends.
