Great water bottle
This Takeya Actives Kids glow in the dark water bottle is awesome!! My kids love it! It’s 18 ounces, stainless steel. It’s easy to use and clean. My daughter loves that it doesn’t leak when she opens the straw lid to drink. It keeps her water cold for hours. She loves that it glows in the dark! She puts it on her bedside table and it glows for hours. Makes it easy to grab when you get thirsty at night. Highly recommend!

Perfect in every way!
Finally! A cup my toddler isn’t spilling everywhere. I nearly bought this in the beginning of summer, but scoffed at the price (it was higher in target) and picked a cheaper option. I felt like I was buying him a new “cheap” cup every few weeks until I couldn’t stand it one more minute. I bought this for my 3yo and loved it so much I went and bought one for myself and both my older kids the next day. I love the silicone bottom, no clanging when they put it down, or wobbling. After two months of every day use, it still looks brand new! Easy to clean, even in the all the nooks and crannies. We only ever put water in it, but so far no funky smell or mildew anywhere. We are “bottle people”, everyone in my family has their water bottle that we use all day, every day. My older kids have the 18oz version and just as pleased with the quality of theirs and mine is the 32 oz. I chuck it in my car with no leaks, I’m never afraid to toss my toddlers cup in my bag for fear of leaks. Absolutely worth the money, keeps the water cold, lowers use of single use plastics and with replacement parts available can last years. Buy it for everyone you know!

Great but clean it!
It’s a lovely little water bottle. Both of my younger daughters used it. I liked it is stainless steel so less plastic exposure, and the girls liked that it’s pink! Spill proof, easy to open for the 18 month old, and a decent price! We’ve used this brand a lot for the kids and my only remark is you do need to really disassemble the lid for thorough cleaning occasionally. The inner working would get a bit moldy with regular use and the dishwasher wasn’t able to get it out. Those straw brushes work fine, but I remember needing a needle at one point to really get it clean.

Nice cup for young children, leak proof (mostly)
I bought these for my 2 yo and 4 yo, and just received these in the mail today. They seem durable and I’m happy to have a 14 oz. cup for my kids, they drink a lot of water and we tend to be out for long periods of time, so it will be really nice to have the bigger capacity! The pink blush and gray are really cute! I did a leak test on them, first I filled them with water and held them upside down with the straw open, and they WILL leak out the air flow valve with the straw open. Totally understandable, but just and FYI. With the straw closed and held upside down, however, they did great! I also laid them on the counter full of water, one upside down and one on it’s side for 30 minutes, and they had no leaks so hooray!! FYI, we have Graco extend to fit car seats, and these cups are too big on the base to fit in their cup holder. If I take the cup holder part out of the car seat, they will fit, but I’m not sure how well my kids will be able to squeeze them in there. If you take the silicone sleeve off of the bottom of the cup they fit in the cup holder but it is a firm fit. They should fit totally fine in our standard car cup holders. I tried drinking out of them and they have really good easy suction. Haven’t had to was them frequently yet, but the seem pretty simple. I will just use one of my straw cleaners to clean the lid out. Overall, seem like a decent sturdy cup!

This NYT Wirecutter Recommendation Does Not Disappoint
I used a plastic water bottle for years, but decided to switch to stainless over concerns with forever chemicals. The New York Times Wirecutter magazine recommended this one. Its compact size suits my needs perfectly. The flip top with integrated straw is easy to open with one hand and prevents leaking. Beverages retain their temperature for several hours without condensation. The top and bottom glow in the dark which makes it easy to find at night. Finally, the price is very reasonable. Wirecutter was right. This is an exceptional water bottle.

Great bottle for adults too!
Love that I can put this in the dishwasher and that it glows in the dark. Also fits on the top shelf - but only the top shelf - of my fridge. Also love how the flip straw is covered when down to avoid contamination from touching stuff, and is light and thin enough for me to hold (unlike the super trendy O**** bottles and S****** Tumblers which are too big and heavy for my petite lady hands and don't play nice with carbonated beverages). Also works with carbonated beverages, and can hold a 16oz monster without spilling out when you close the lid as long as there's no reusable ice cubes in it. You can of course add the reusable ice cubes after you drink a bit but you want that extra space in there for the carbonation to escape before sealing, where it does have a teeny silicone hole the straw covers when flipped close. The only spilling/leakage I have personally experienced is if the straw is open and you turn it upside down whatever beverage is still left inside the straw will drip out, or if you go to refill it and take the top all the way off the liquid still in the straw will pour out the bottom - which is to be expected. I wish it came in more glow colors - like black and white where the white glows. I also wish there were more accessories for it like replacement glow tops/boots, and bottle holders/slings for this size, and possibly even mug-style handles. Considering my various health issues too this has been the best one I've found aside from Swig though I prefer their 22oz travel mugs for home use as they have the side handle, lids for carbonated beverages, fit in the top rack of my dishwasher and also work great for tea.

These do not leak
We have 3 of these for our kids and love the quality! They do not leak. They're a great size for under 5 years old. They're light enough for kids to carry by the handle, but still sturdy. We have had 2 of ours for 4 years. They fit in car seat cupholders if you take the rubber bottom piece off.

We have been using Takeya bottles for years ans are generally very happy with the qualtiy. We bought this for our son. It has been leaking after a year if use..

This water bottle is good for school age children since it's not too heavy yet keeps water cool for several hours and it's tough enough for daily tumbles. However, the bottom bumper comes off way too easily just moving around, without even pulling it. It fell off and was lost within a week of receiving it. Takeya doesn't sell replacement bumpers for the glow-in-the-dark kids colors so now we're left with a pretty normal looking bottle instead of the fun kids colors. I would not recommend it for kids since a bumper that comes off easily seems like a defect in a kids product.

It's great quality, size handle is perfect. My 6year old takes it to school and still in good shape.
