This hair color is GREAT! I purchased MOCHA, and it’s a beautiful chocolatey brown - exactly what I was looking for.My hair is probably 40% gray, I wanted color - but not permanently. This gives me great dimension - darkens my hair and colors the grays, but not the same deep brown. It looks quite natural.I’ve used it twice now. I did it with DRY HAIR. The first, time I just covered my hair with a plastic bag, no heat as I wasn’t sure how this was going to go! Looked nice. Lasted about 2 1/2 weeks. (I wash my hair almost every day.) Second time I also covered it but I hit it with it the hairdryer for a few minutes. The color was much richer.There’s really no smell at all to the color. Less than 1 bottle works for me (I have thick hair just past my shoulders). Make sure you have gloves for application AND for rinsing out in the shower. I did NOT wash my hair after rinsing but I did use conditioner. My hair is soft and shiny.Putting this on auto delivery!

If you’re on a quest for a red so vibrant that your conservative family would faint on Easter Sunday, or if you had an emo phase where you shopped at Hot Topic like it was your second home, then this fiery red dye is your soulmate! I thought they were exaggerating the name, but turned out they named it accurately.Alright, let me spill the tea on my adventure. I’m a working professional, about to hit the big 4-0, so I’ve left my emo “F U” stage behind. I have a serious event lined up, so I was in the market for a more muted tone. I watched the hair strip video and saw the samples of what this dye was supposed to look like if your starting color was on the left of the photo. Photo 1. Spoiler alert: my hair wasn’t super white or blonde. It was light, but not that light. Photo 2. I followed the instructions to a T. When I washed it out, the water turned into a vibrant pink (it also dyed my tub). I thought, “Sure, it’s just the initial shock, the darker tones will show through soon.” Wrong. I shampooed four times, and it was still bleeding pink like a horror movie scene. My hair did get a bit lighter each time, but not enough. Exhausted and with work the next morning, I decided to give up and rock a hat into the office. Photo 3. This was Wednesday. By Saturday, I was back at it, opting for a darker brown shade to cover the pink explosion. Now, I’m liking it more. This is doable. I’ll wait and see what happens as it fades out. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up with a new hair color I love! I think the cap w some water reflects the truest color that it turns to. Photo 4.

OMG, this is awesome! I've never dyed my own hair and I was even able to create a unique design on the side. The process was extremely easy and I only used less than 1/4 of the dye, so there's plenty left for touch-ups. I used a paint brush to create the outline on the side and to apply the dye. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤️ this product, and will stock up on a bunch of colors for my reinvention project. Thank you Amazon!

Color accuracy: booooColor efficacy: YAYI read the other reviews so I was prepared for the color to be potentially a bit off, but WOW. I ordered dark sienna and it was straight up BURGUNDY! This is how it looked after 5 washes, so some of the brightness has faded, but still super red. My starting hair color was a natural dishwater blonde with a few greys, for reference. For a good brown, maybe I should have gone with mocha?The color is potent and seems to last much longer than comparable products which I have seen fade by 75% within 5 washes. For the application, I began with dry hair that hadn't been washed for a few days and had air dried after swimming in the ocean. I applied the whole bottle for slightly thicker medium-short hair. Wrapped in plastic wrap and went out in the afternoon summer sun for some yard work. Probably cured about an hour. I would use this product again and recommend it as long as you're not too particular about getting an exact color.

I used Purple Rage and Mystic Gray on my friends hair. I used bleach to add highlights first using Clairol powder bleach and 20 vol developer. I mixed the Purple Rage with Arctic Fox’s Poseidon to make a blue-based violet to prevent the purple from fading to pink, as Purple Rage appeared to be a red-based violet when I squirted it out of the tube. The result was lovely. I used Mystic gray to add some gray highlights. She already has some natural gray highlights, but she wanted more. It added a nice touch of dimension. The gray seemed to stick well, which I was surprised by because light colors like that often wash out right away or don’t show up well. We were both really happy with the end result.

Absolutely loved this product was able to use it two times. One small bottle did my hair two times and I mean it was absolutely the dark dark blue that I love it's also stated in my hair very well it's absolutely amazing and it didn't seem to hurt my hair at all still was soft and my hair is almost over half down my back again. Definitely making this my only dye product
