Great product and customer service experience
I have been an avid weight lifter for 18 years now and recently had a baby which has restricted my free time to hit the gym. I started a home gym to get quick workouts in and maintain my muscle mass. For about a year this consisted of only an adjustable bench, dumbbells, barbell, EZ curl bar and plates. While I can get a decent workout in with this, there was a lot I couldn't do and the variations of exercises were limited. I selected this piece of equipment because of its compact size, quantity of exercises available and price. Delivery was on time and the assembly took me about 3-4 hours, but I work in the construction industry so this might take others longer. The machine is solid and smooth and provides a lot of resistance with the 150lb stack. The chest fly function is a little awkward, but gets the job done. I ordered rope, curl bar, narrow grip handle and single grip handle accessories as well as a few carabiners (also on Amazon). This little piece of equipment added a ton of diversity to my workouts at the house as well as the ability to even work certain muscle groups I couldn't at all at home before. For the price, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Another note, once I got the machine about 75% assembled I noticed that the plastic brackets that hold the weight stack shield in place were broken during delivery as well as the shield itself was dinged. These parts could not be installed but I could finish the rest of my assembly and use the machine. I contacted the seller, Plumstruck, and notified them of the damaged parts as well as provided photos. The responded immediately and said they could not replace parts and I had 2 options: either send the entire machine back for a new one (not feasible after assembled) or take a 15% discount. So I took the discount, which was a nice $60 discount. The next day I called Marcy customer service to purchase the replacement parts. Marcy asked for the model #, where and when purchased, and immediately shipped the new parts free of charge! Excellent customer service from seller and manufacturer. If you are considering this machine, I highly recommend.

For the money, it's decent.
Arrived on time and with slightly banged up box. Once opened and I started assembling the gym I notice the bottom pad support was bent up. I used the trusty hammer to flatten it out. Then I saw oneof the uprights was buckled by about 3 inches and the press rubber stopper would not align and it was actually stopping on the pulley. I grabbed my small bottle jack and corrected that issue. Now I could have whined and cried and wanted a new gym, but these defects was not the end of the world. Now it's all assembled and works great. I also had the video of assembly on youtube as I put it together. It took me about 45 minutes with technical modifications. For the money, it's worth it to me. I would suggest they send it in two or three packages instead. The shippers most likely wouldn't be so hard on the product.

Great workouts
I’ve had this multi-station gym about a month and it is perfect for the price! I’m 6’4” and ended up building it on top of the wooden pallet it was delivered on to get a tall person’s height adjustment. I had to cut the pallet a bit and covered it with some black fabric ($10) from hobby lobby to make it look nice. Then I added and cut to fit some of those rubber exercise mat floor tiles. It turned out better than I expected. As many other reviewers said, the instructions are pretty bad. However, with the video and the instructions, it very doable. Took me a few hours over a few days but I wasn’t in a rush.Advice: leave the screws, nuts and bolts in their packaging until needed. But lay all of the frame pieces out so you can see and grab them easily. I accidentally put the arms on the wrong sides and couldn’t do the rows but it was an easy 5 minute fix. Great multi station gym and it absolutely DOES work for us tall people.

Nice Home Gym for the Price!
I bought this to get back into weight training again. I'm in my mid-forties and have been weight training on and off for the past 30 years. I have quite a few Marcy free weights and free weight equipment, but wanted something that would help my workouts be both more efficient and safer. It's a nice piece of equipment and is great for an overall workout. If you're into more advanced weight training, this is probably not a choice you'd want. If you're looking for equipment to build some muscle and help you stay in shape, this should do the trick. I'm approximately 5'9" and the ergonomics of the equipment work nicely. The equipment looks and feels solid. I chose a Marcy home gym because I've always been impressed with their quality. For the price, it's a lot of bang for the buck. The unit is compact enought to fit nicely into a small space. I'm using mine in a converted 10' x 12' spare bedroom. Even with the equipment assembled, there's plenty of room for both my treadmill and an exercise bike.Assembly wasn't too bad. It took me about 3.5 hours working by myself at a leisurely pace. The only tools I used were the allen wrenches supplied with the equipment, an adjustable wrench, and a metric socket ratchet for the nuts (I think it was 16mm.). I'm averagely mechanically inclined. The directions for putting the equipment together were pretty straight forward and should be easy enough for most to be able to assembly without needing extra help. 'Hope this info helps:)!

VERY POOR ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
VERY POOR ASSEMBLY DIRECTIONS. Company says to watch their video which has a blatant error in step 15. Does not come with any exercises, or explanations, as to which muscle groups are being addressed. Downloadable and printable jpgs are VERY poor quality, and VERY difficult to read. Enlarging image degrades it even more. Unit seems well constructed, will see.
