Some of the other products you can get have a cheap mix not a true herbs to providence. This one I would buy over and over it has a great ratio of herbs. I just can't keep it in my pantry cuz my friends asked me what I'm cooking with and then I end up giving them some.

Adds great flavor to salads

I wanted to try herbs de provence and the big question was whether lavender should be included or not, and I couldn't decide which brand to purchase. So, I bought different brands...this one that includes lavender, and one that excluded it, and then made my own from scratch. This particular brand includes a pretty fair amount of lavender, which I had not previously eaten in food. Wasn't sure I'd like it. It is quite different from anything else, so I'd go easy on it until you decide whether you like it or not. I added this brand of herbs in my soup recently and my response is that I do like appreciate the flavor of lavender, although not heavily. Just use sparingly according to your taste. If you like lavender, you'll love this brand. That seems to be the deciding factor for a lot of folks, and that's my opinion. This brand seems to be a great combination of quality herbs and didn't look like sticks or dust. Happy cooking!

Fantastic product! Well crafted flavor! Love the lavender notes in the spice! The perfect spice to add to salads, soups, sauces, eggs ,dips, French fries, popcorn, savory deserts! I highly recommend this.

This is a perfect herbs de Provence. Everything is balanced in perfect proportion. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the lid doesn't close correctly. It's almost like the lid is 1/64th too large. I had to throw the lid away and wrap the top closed.

I originally purchased Herbes de Provence on a lark. It was the last of its type on a "quick sale" shelf in a discount store (Tuesday Morning). The next time I had a salad, I added it at the same time that I added the cracked pepper. To my surprise, it really added a depth of flavor to the salad. I now add it anytime that I add pepper to the salad, and also use it on many cooked vegetables. I looked at various stores for it, without any luck, and then found it where I guess I should have looked first - on Amazon. Not cheap, but then you do not use a lot. I find it well worth the money.

I got in trouble... It's my wife's favorite blend to use and I love it too. I finished off the last jar without having a spare in place. It's very flavorful and a great overall blend and we really like the quality.I bought extra this time.

Although a little pricey this is worth the cost. I got this brand after reviewing lots of products on Amazon. Since I haven’t tried other brands all I can do is talk about how great this tastes. I used it the day I got it. It was the only spice I used in a baked chicken pasta dish. Omg so delicious. So subtle and yet tasty. I’ve used it several more times. And tastes great. Even in the Thanksgiving dressing I made 2 weeks ago. Definitely a go to spice blend. Will buy again when I run out.
