WOW! Stephen did it again!
I am subscribed to the InventRight weekly email update, and I bought this book on the day I got an email that this book is on Amazon.Stephen and Andrew know exactly how to brush up your creativity, and how to work with your weakness to gain profit and success out of it, as sometimes weakness and lack of information really affects the financial level, and hinder your progress and proper utilization of your ideas.I am on amazon since ages, but I never remember me giving any reviews on products or anything, but this book, oh god, this book has actually forced me to write. This book has really helped me to see things differently and approach the realistic licensing world in more determined and beneficial way, now I know how to use my ideas and make money from them, thanks for showing me this new side of this world.I think Stephen has done it in very brilliant way, he took step by step approach starting from his first book "One Simple Idea" where he discussed general understanding in the life of licensing products, to this masterpiece where he takes you into the real deal, it tells you exactly how to file a PPA from a "business perspective", and many more details.I must say Stephen has done great job in discussing patents and such complicated things in such a way t'hat I actually enjoyed reading it rather then feeling bored. From starting to end it was smooth read, and I don't even mind reading it again (especially the Logo story :))Stephen, you did it again, you put into this book your heart, and years of experience.I highly recommend this book for all creative people who have ideas - but can't figure out how to "finally" make money out of it.

Experienced Inventors Start Their Answers with "It Depends"
Just finished it and already sending copies to inventor friends. Great information definitely for inventor wannabees, beginners, and intermediate inventors..Definitely belongs in an Inventor Wannabes Library (along with his other two books via Amazon.com) ... Fastest way to know you are talking to an experienced Inventor is if they start their answer with "It Depends". He does... This book needs/must be read many times with post notes and highlighter in hand .... Great non-fiction books require multiple readings .... He uses multiple personal stories to expand on his lessons.. I need to reread his Federal Court case against LEGO, that he won. His lessons gained there are included in this short 149 pg book, and may help you prepare to protect a big or small idea. Weakness: He didn't caution readers about the sometimes late night Invention Infomercials. He might have in a prior book. Always needs repeating at every talk on inventing, even though the US Patent Office has good regulations to keep the dishonest ones out. High Praises: For his insights with working with the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO.gov) and his counsel as to when to write your own Provisional Patent Application (PPA) and when to get it reviewed by a Patent Attorney. He explains how you could submit electronically, your own PPA for under $185 (Filing fees and Drawings) tomorrow and be able seconds later, add "Patent Pending" for a year to your KickStarter Product Campaign. It will be required reading for members of our local Inventors meetup group, so I don't have to keep talking about the info covered in the book, at every meeting. Good information for new inventors!
I discovered this book while doing research for my own and I gotta say, I am now a follower of Stephen Key! I want to sign up for his courses and keep this book on hand for when I make the leap to get my own ideas for tech stuff turned into products. This book shared so much good information and I learned a lot. I loved the story at the end. I highly recommend this book.

Opened my eyes
Found a wealth of info on what and what not to do when marketing my product idea to companies. I’m not a big book reader but I could not put this book down and read it in a day. Valuable info. Only thing I felt could have been covered a little better was the application process for Provisional Patents, however I found another book that covered it detail. I think Mr. Key’s book is a must read for anyone wanting to protect an idea and approach companies to sell or license it.

I absolutely love this book
I absolutely love this book! This book is a very useful blueprint for getting your ideas to market. I read this book, and did a lot of highlighting on the Kindle version. I went back time and time again to reread these parts, as they were key points that really helped me when writing my provisional patent. Back in the day, I remember having ideas, but there were very few things out there to help you with the steps you need to take to make it a reality. You might have said, "..but I don't know what to do, or how to go about it." Now, if you have an idea, and a dream, there is no excuse to not at least try to do something about it. I used this book and his YouTube videos to his series called "Invent Right" also. I highly recommend this book for new inventors.

Good contents but repetitive
As a beginner of invention and licensing business, I bought this book after I watched his YouTube video. The main topic is very helpful and I was able to follow to file a PPA with this book. I like the author and his style, but the whole story of this book is about filing a PPA and why we need to file a PPA.

Stephen Key - This book will change your life, if you let it. First, you must have an idea. then... this book. Or all 3 why not?
Stephen Key knows what he's talking about. His story, the InventRight team, its all good stuff. Hope to put it to good use one day soon. Still working on my ideas. Good reading. Need to re-read this holiday season again. Hope you enjoy it as well. - I know this is the same first sentences for all 3 of his books that I own, but they're all good and pertinent. Going to re-read them this holiday break. Do you remember Teddy Ruxpin? Laser Tag? He helped work on that stuff. Smart guy here. Anyhow, if you've read this far, buy his books. You'll get the mileage you need to get your product out there.

Selling Your Idea Is Possible!
After reading One Simple Idea, it was only a matter of time before I bought this one, which wasn’t very long before I did, lol. Stephen does an excellent job at explaining how this can be done, and talks about his adventures along the way. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping others succeed, and tries to simplify the process for everyone else. You must read this if you have read One Simple Idea. I’m glad I made the purchase, and would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in inventing. This book will give you some more motivation, and help you understand how to make your ideas a reality. I’m planning to be one of their students in the near future, and thank you Stephen for another great book.

Must have
Great book, very well written and informative. I've watched a fair few of Stephens videos (inventright) and have his other book, so had to add this to the collection.
