Extend the life of your sanding belts!
So simple to use, and amazingly efficient.Just turn on the sander and gently put the stick on the sander and move it across the surface. In about 10-15 seconds, the sandpaper is magically clean and looks new again and all the wood deposits have disappeared. Definitely extends the life of your sanding disks and sanding belts.Depending upon your paper's grit and how aggressive you are with the stick, you might shave off barely anything to maybe a small chip off the stick. I've used this about a dozen times so far and about a 1/4 inch wedge has been used. This is a good size stick. I'm a hobbyist and don't use my sanders on a daily basis, and given the size of this thing, this will probably last me more than a few years. Well worth the money.

It will pay for itself many times over...
If you have any sort of power sander, whether it be an oscillating hand sander, a belt sander, or anything else... this thing is what you need. It is like a giant eraser for sandpaper. It will get the wood, gum, and everything else out of your sandpaper and make it like new in just a few seconds. You will increase the effective life of your belts or pads by at least 10x. Not only that, but they will continue to work practically like new rather than slowly being less and less effective as they clog up.It is literally a big chunk of rubber, so don't expect some sort of miracle material, although it works like a miracle when it comes to cleaning sanding belts and pads. It really is amazing how well it works. Once you have one of these you will never be without one. And this one in particular is so large that it will last a weekend woodworker for years.

Works great for cleaning up the grip tape on your longboard.
This product was amazing. I do routine cleanups on my longboard twice a week for the last month and this product still holds up perfectly! It removed all the grime and dirt off the grip tape making it look like it was brand new! It does everything it was advertised to do and more. The block itself looks barely used and I’ll be sure to continue using it until it’s no more but that shouldn’t be for a while. I totally would recommend this product!

Got this for grip tape.
Works excellent. I have no complaints it really did get my grip looking clean and fresh again. Half the cost of the skate brand rubber. Would recommend and will buy again!

Excellent to Clean Drum Sander Paper
Excellent Result When Cleaning Drum Sander Paper. When I used Prostik to clean my drum sander belt I was amazed. I discovered the use of "crepe blocks" to clean drum sanders, while researching how to prevent the burn marks I was getting on my cutting boards. A crepe block as it turns out is similar in material to a pencil eraser. There were a few to choose from on Amazon but I choose the Prostick due to its large size so it would be easy to hold onto against a spinning drum. I gave it a whirl. While the drum sander was spinning I ran the Prostik along it and instantly the clogged sand paper cleaned up (see video and before and after pictures). Burn lines in the sand paper took a couple of passes but they cleaned up too. I was so pleased with the result, partially because I was considering replacing my cheaply made drum sander. Very little of the stick was used up in the process. I would guess the stick would last years for the hobbyist wood worker. When running the Prostick along the sandpaper it would leave small bits of crepe rubber that were easily brushed away with a shop brush. Gone are the burn marks and my paper is going to last a LOT longer. :)

A lot smaller
They have shrunk

You have to use it to believe it.
I've used it on hand-sandpaper, power sanding discs, 3-M cubitron (not much to clean out on these), and bench grinding wheels. It works like magic in a few seconds, pulling off all the gunk and caked-on wood dust. It's just a gigantic natural rubber eraser, but it is the best, cheap tool for the job: extending the life of your sanding media. One of these will last me for decades, at the rate I'm using it. I highly recommend it.
