This review is for the 4 Leaf Surface Mounted Power Strip 3 AC Grounded Outlets Mountable Power Strip. This 4 Leaf power strip is quite simplistic: no switch, no fuse, no ESD protection, no USB charging, no problems. Three grounded outlets. I love it! So far I have purchased three of these. The 4 Leaf power strips seem well made and are UL listed. Rated to a full 12A. No negatives. Exceeds expectations. Five stars.

It's a compact power strip with mounting holes and three sockets. I am restoring a vintage radio cabinet, so I specifically needed a small power strip to power the radio, cabinet lights, and an AM transmitter without a USB socket and this fit the bill. USB power means there's a switchmode power supply inside and those output enough electromagnetic interference that you'd hear the buzzing over the antique radio. Sometimes the extra features are a negative, so simple is better.

Solid little power bar , compact that was what I needed with limited space between 2 power amplifiers . has grounded plug so I took it apart and drilled a hole to install a 14ga. ground wire to attach to the receivers which have non grounded plugs. got rid of the hum. Works great.

Bought for my kitchen as I have limited outlets. Works great!

Good quality works as should

This is a simple but effective surface-mounted power tap. The cord and power tap seem heavy duty and the unit is UL certified, but only rated for 12A (i.e. 1440W peak or 1152W continuous). The flexible part of the power cord measures 74” (a little shy than the 6.5’ listed in the product listing). There are four small screws included for mounting… the heads really are too small (almost the exact size of the mounting holes), so they may pull through during installation (I got annoyed and instead used my own #6 screws with larger heads). Once installed, my primary complaint is the outlet spacing. For comparison, I compared to a standard wall outlet. With a standard wall outlet, the space between the bottom of the upper outlet’s ground socket and the top of the lower outlet’s prongs is ¾”. On this outlet, that measurement is approximately 5/16”. In other words, there is less than half the ‘dead space’ between outlets on this tap relative to standard power outlets. As a result, even the most compact power bricks are likely to block the next outlet. As long as you can live with the 12A rating and tight spacing, this is a good power tap, but I recommend using your own mounting screws.
