I never thought a policy like this was so true, easy, and fast! I think this is a necessary with every electronics purchase from Amazon!

Good communication
Sent consistent emails about the progress, until they couldn't repair it. They ended up giving me a reimbursement for use on Amazon to get a new laptop. Thank you!

Could not be more satisfied!
I took the additional coverage and boy oh, boy (!) was I glad I did. Bought a new Think pad 7 months ago, it stopped working. Was out of manufacture warranty so I contacted Asurion and they did exactly what you would expect them to do. From first contact to last, they were helpful and all measures were made easy without having to spend a penny! Silver lining, laptop could not be repaired, full refund was in my account within minutes, MINUTES!!! I always refused coverage on purchases previously, I doubled the coverage on my new laptop. Hope this is helpful.

A quality warranty service
Dec. 2023 purchased Lenovo 17.3" and the Asurion warranty, 9 months later it went black for no reason. Lenovo was still under manufacture warranty so too early for Asurion. Laptop sent to Lenovo depot twice both times they said it was fixed but it wasn't. My laptop would randomly reboot every few minutes. Spoke to CS many times. Lenovo sent me to escalations for a refund. Now I find out the laptop, sold NEW by a third-party company on Amazon was alter beyond the capacity of the unit. I called Asurion and they put me in touch with Amazon who put me in touch with the third-party company. Neither would help. I called Asurion back and even though they did not have to help at all since it was still under Lenovo warranty.Asurion took over, sent me box to get the laptop to them, they found it could not be repaired. Asurion refunded my total cost of the Lenovo with an Amazone gift card. Asurion did not have to help me at all. I would say it goes to the Character of their company. I can't thank them enough.

The absolute worst service I've ever received - completely unacceptable
I ordered this warranty extension for a laptop that I purchased in 2019 - and in August 2020, I started having some problems with that laptop and used this warranty to send it to Asurion for repairs. About a week later, I was told that the laptop couldn't be repaired, so I was offered a few replacement options, so I chose a desktop as my replacement and was told that it would be shipped to me in a week.Except that when it got to me, it wasn't what I had chosen, and wasn't even close - instead of the gaming desktop that I had chosen I had instead received an Apple iMac. Somehow they had switched my order with someone else's, and sent my desktop to Las Vegas - and for context, I live on the EAST COAST, so they sent it to the OPPOSITE END OF THE COUNTRY. From this point, I and the person who received my desktop were given additional shipping labels, and told to ship the products that we had mistakenly received to each other. So it took me an entire additional week to received the desktop that I had chosen as my replacement option.But here's the kicker: when I finally received my desktop, an entire month after I filed the original claim, IT DIDN"T WORK AT ALL. I set it up, plugged it in, but it refused to power on - no lights, no fans running, nothing on the monitor: I had essentially been delivered a giant brick. Not even going through steps with tech help from the manufacturer got anything to work.And so at this point, I have been without a functional computer for OVER A MONTH. I received the defective replacement on Monday, and have since called Asurion's customer support every day since then trying to reimbursed for the cost of my original laptop, plus additional compensation for the entire MONTH that I've had to spend without a functional computer, plus the sheer inconvenience of having my product first shipped to the entire wrong place and then having that product be entirely nonfunctional when it finally arrived to me.I have been promised a callback within one business day every single day since Monday - I have not ever received any callback as promised, and have only been fed the same line, every day, that they are "looking into it." Just about the only thing that has been guaranteed is a return label that would be sent to me via email to send the defective product back - as of right now, NOT EVEN THAT has been delivered.The service that I have received has been completely, entirely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise someone considering Asurion for covering your warranty to look somewhere else.

Latte Headache Averted
6 weeks after purchasing my new laptop, I dropped a full laptop right in the middle of the keyboard. The claim process was super simple, they were unable to repair it and an Amazon GC for the full purchase price of the laptop was issued almost immediately after they received it. If there was room for improvement it would be in that they send the packing materials to you to send in your electronic via UPS Ground. As this was my primary laptop for work, a bit speedier pace there would have been nice, but outside of that, I'm very happy I decided to purchase this protection.

Definitely a must have
Over the years we bought protection from Asurion for certain things, Like computers, tablets, games ect. And had to use it a few times and never had a issue. Its really easy to file a claim and respond time is fast. For the couple dollars it costs its worth the piece of mind.
