Update After 4-1/2 Years, A Bit Downgraded
Update Oct 2, 2017I just ordered a different replacement collar because very long threads are splaying out from the collar as the top layer disintegrates. It doesn't look good with the top colored layer gone and all these threads sticking out. It was coming off too easily which I solved by sticking a small piece of blue masking tape over the part of the buckle that inserts. For the cat's safety it will still pull apart, but it takes a bit more force to accomplish that.Feb 15, 2013I recommend it without reservation. Rascal has had it on for more than a week and doesn't even notice it. I pulled the bell off because she's an inside cat. We're just paranoid about her getting out, so the collar holds a tag with our name, address, and phone; and another tag is the number to call for her chip data. It was very easy to adjust the size, put on, and it won't fray like the last nylon one, but it is still a safety collar with the pull-loose buckle. It is vinyl faux leather and looks very good, with even a few sparkles. It doesn't appear to have any weaknesses that could lead to it wearing out.

A Snazzy Little Collar for your Feline Friend!
As much as I hate to admit it, my honey was right. This collar is pretty darn cute on our fur-ocious amber feline. It also helps us know when she's up to no good with its shiny little bell. Don't worry, it is not nearly as annoying as finding out later that your paper towels were used as a play thing. We have noticed a few loose threads here and there but we pluck em and move on with live. The safety release gives you the added security of know that, when you cat tries some funny business and gets caught on something the collar won't become a death trap.

Good Alternative to Nylon/Woven Collars
Every nylon collar we have tried, started to fray after about 2 months of wear. I looked everywhere for either a leather or leather-like safety collar for our cats. This was the only one I ran across. It's been about a month, and there are no signs of wear, the stitching is still intact, and the safety closure works as it should. My only complaint is the material is a bit stiff initially. It has softened some with her wearing it, and doesn't seem to bother the cat.So far, so good.

Nice collars and colours but
Sometimes they break apart a little too easy when cats are playing around. Be nice if the breakaway buckle was fixed on one side. Both sides can come off, this has happened to the purple and green. Because both can separate, the purple coloured one I bought is now missing, making the collar useless. The Pink one is still connected and hasn't yet come off.I had bought 4, one of each colour. The colours are nice pastels, the little paw prints in the collars that sparkle is pretty.

Nice one but if this ball was a real bell, it would be great
I got this one for my new and first kitten. i didn't try it on him yet. however i liked the pink color and the paw on the collar. The only drawback (for me) is about the little attached ball, it's not a real bell, i though it would be. Anyways they didn't mention that it has a bell.Overall i'm satisfied with the collar and i hope my Smoky will like it too

Not for my cat
I should have known better. It was not a fault of this particular collar, per se, but my cat is pretty good at popping open the breakaway clasps. For those of you with similar problems, don't get this collar. Previously, I had a buckle collar with the little stretch piece of elastic for safety. I had a hard time finding that type of collar again, so I tried this one. My kitty has been running around naked for several months. Everytime she would pop the collar open, I'd put it back on. It never stayed on for more than 2-3 days and I finally gave up. I had to buy yet another collar. This collar was also more "plastic-y" than I expected from the picture and description.

Nice quality
Perfect for the cat. She's managed to get out of it every time though, due to the break away. Our cat hates the bell and that is why she tries so hard to get out of it. The quality is nice and the break away works like it should... maybe a bit too well :).

Not bad
My cat has kept this collar on without much fuss. However, my other cat hates this collar and readily pulls it off. The bell makes a very distinct sound, which I personally like. Only complaint that the band has already started fraying pretty bad after just a couple of months. The snap doesn't come undone easily, but readily pulls apart if your cat were to catch it on something.
