The moment that I read the first book I fell in love with this series is so good I can't wait for the newest book 2 come out

Sweet and Touching read

No matter what volume, this manga makes me cry everytime! It's so beautiful ♡

~4/5This volume really shows how far Mei has come. Christmas comes, as does her birthday, and she has plans with her friends. And for once, she actually feels like part of the group. And when they find out it’s her birthday, it really shows her how important she is to them, and how much they all care. Daichi and Kyoko even make sure to tell her what kind of impact she’s had on them. And all of them makes her remember the happy memories she has of her past, particularly with her parents.It’s a real maturing moment for Mei, and it all builds up to a maturing moment in her relationship with Yamato. This has been building for a while, but Mei’s been too afraid and embarrassed, but it’s perfect here. It’s the exact moment it needs to be for them, sweet and important and loving, and the time after is realistic and honest. It’s perfect. Plus, I love in particular that Yamato emphasizes that they can stop at any time.Then there’s afterward, when Mei gets to talk to her friends, and we see their real friendship growing.I just love this series. This was probably my favorite volume in the series (possibly because Megumi is only on like one page and I can't stand her lol). However, I couldn't help but notice a minor plot inconsistency. SPOILER: in volume 1, it says that Mei is 16. Mei and Yamato don't celebrate their first Christmas together as a couple. In this volume, we find out that Mei's birthday is on Christmas, and when everyone finds out, they say, "happy 17th birthday!" Now anyone who has a basic understanding of arithmetic will know that this wouldn't be her 17th birthday, but actually her 18th; she was 16 when she started dating Yamato, Christmas went by, along with her birthday, then it's a year after that and they're finally celebrating her birthday together. Maybe it was a translation error in the first volume, and it was meant to say she was a first year high school student, and the translator just interpreted it as her being 16 (most Japanese students are 16 in their first year of high school), or maybe the author just forgot how to count. We may never know! END SPOILERS: Anyway, if you read up to this point, you might as well continue on to this volume because it continually gets better. Oh, and something BIG happens at the end, so yeah, you definitely don't want to miss it!
