Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades, 50 Blades (10 x 5)

When I switched from disposable blades to a safety razor I bought I sample pack with several brands of razor blades. Most were fine. One was pretty bad. One was clearly the best: Astra.

I have used these blades for years. I know they recently switched to be made in India. I received 50 authentic Russian blades for $7.60 shipped! If I were to use these blades exclusively this pack of 50 would last meet 2 years. Compare that to gillette or shick. Much better shave at a much better price.

Fantastic razors, these are the ones made in Russia. Cheap, great quality, good for just about any type of skin or face. Sharp but not too sharp, very thin and easy to use.

Taking a star off because all of my razors came in a black baggy and all of the razor boxes were smashed. Despite receiving them in that state they performed very well.

These blades provide a good smooth shave and can get 5-7 double pass shaves per blade on my medium course beard.

These blades are an excellent value. I've had better AND worse shaves from more expensive blades, but these are very cheap and do a very good job.

I like Astra's they're worth the money and about a 6-7 on the agressive scale. If you're new to wet shaving, give them a try

I just started shopping with Amazon and I'm thrilled that l started...communication and tracking is excellent... huge range and prices are top class.

I use these blades with my Merkur 38C and this is NOT the last time I will purchase Astra Superior Platinum blades. These babies are smooth AND sharp. No problems with the blade lasting, either. I get about 6 or 7 shaves out of one blade and they remain sharp and smooth. I could probably get ten shaves out of them, but I figure then I'm just being cheap. Next time, I'm buying a 100 pack of these blades. I'd love to try a couple of other blades on the market, but Astras will forever be my go-to blade when I need a consistent shave.

For anyone still shaving with disposable cartridges, you have to try using a straight safety razor, atleast once, cleanest shave you can get. GET WITH THE TIMES!!! This route saves you so much money and gets you a better shave.
