Works amazingly. Rubs in and isn't greasy, no smell, dries to an invisible powder, lasts a long time because a little bit will do a lot.

Bought to replace my Smashbox Photo Finish primer. I get sebhorric dermatitis fairly often (rosacea skin) and find that silicone-based primer with powder foundation is the only thing that can take my oily skin, but the powder highlights any flaky dry patches from the seb derm without this so I hate not having it on hand.Perfect replacement. I even like the packaging more, since the small Smashbox tubes would spend too long with the caps off while I used it and end up drying out (this has a clip cap, easy to open and close between getting bits it to work into my face), and the full Smashbox had a hard plastic bottle with a pump so you'd end up with some left that you couldn't get out (this has a soft squeeze tube).Amazing primer, anyone with uneven skin, fine wrinkles, small bumps, or oily skin should try it. It also works great for holding on makeup in intense humidity and hot environments. I used it on a trip to Disney and my family kept commenting on how they couldn't believe my makeup stayed on. Also good for clear skin on days you don't want foundation but want the smooth, matte finish makeup can give. Makes clean skin look gorgeous.I find it works better with powder if I apply it right after heavyish moisturizer has fully absorbed--I sometimes have it roll off my face without that. If you use liquid foundation, this probably won't be a concern.

This is by far the best chafing relief cream for the bikini area around. After my bikini area is shaved and before I put on underwear, I always use some of this and there is never any red irritation, bumps, ingrown hairs, etc. Soft and smooth skin only. This is pretty hard to find lately, so I hope it’s not discontinued.

I purchased the Monistat powder/gel product after realizing it contains the same ingredients as some choice primers, and the product can be purchased for a very reasonable amount of money. I am learning how make-up is applied by "the modern way". I have a goal of purchasing good products, and also saving money.I have discovered for me, that the first step, is application of Good-N-Natural Retinol cream (Vitamin A 100,000 I.U. per ounce), used as an excellent under make-up moisturizer. Allow to dry.Then, the application of Milk of Magnesia,(M.O.M.), can be applied about the size of a dime, to the face, over the moisturizer, which is the second step. Of course everything must dry throughly, before applying the next product.The primer, third step of course, is applied last, also about the size of a dime. Too much will leave dry patches, especially around the eyes, so omit those areas, and use a milder primer made specifically for eye area. Now, all the make-up can be applied over the Monistat product, sparingly of course, much like painting a picture.The monistat product will set the make-up extremely well, for many hours. I have also recently discovered an excellent natural organic powder make-up, with biotanicals, and antioxidants. The company sells their very special kit for an unbelievable price. The make-up is called IQ Naturals. Another wonderful all natural powder make-up is bare minerals. Anyway, I have always preferred using products that are as natural as possible. It is to my understanding that the above make-up companies do not have products that are tested on animals. We only have 1 planet, it is important to take care of our planet earth.

Where we currently live, the summers are extremely hot. To make matters worse, we live in a 40+-yr old buildingwith very little insulation left! Whatever the temps are outside are not too far off from inside, even with the AC running.I started using this last summer, when we had a 21-day streak of over-100-degree temps. It was a nightmare of a heat wave.I am overweight, so have some extra skin-to-skin places that perhaps others might not have.I get miserably uncomfortable in those places, to the point of my skin cracking or even bleeding.So, I ordered some of this. I couldn't find it locally, so ordered it from Amazon.It was shipped quickly and arrived in great shape.I wish Monistat would make a larger, more cost-effective tube. While a little does go a long way, theoretically,it is still a pretty small tube compared to the price.The feeling of this gel is wonderful - it glides on super soft and light textured.Even better, it WORKS! I didn't have the cracked skin despite the heat wherever I applied this.Note that it will not stop you from sweating, but will stop the chafing.There is only one bad part of this item (other than the cost being too high for how much you get! Seriously...)This is NOT non-comedogenic. So, this stuff WILL block skin pores like crazy.Where I noticed this the most was under my breasts (yeah, I said it! I am sure some of the ladies readingthis review are thinking of that exact use!). It did a great job of stopping the chafing. My skin was not crackingor bleeding like before. BUT - it clogs up the pores. When I use this, my breasts almost look like they havemild acne. I get red zit-like dots, and some just fill up like a blackhead. It has to be this product, becauseit is the only thing I've used in that area. So, I was not very happy about that. However, I have tried a coupleother products now, and while I didn't notice the pore-blocking, they also did not stop the chafing!So, it is a trade-off for large-breasted women.It works great for the chafing, but isn't so great for your pores.
