When the passenger side latch while on vacation, I tried checking with Snug Top dealers for a replacement and was told by all that it is not a stock item and would take 4 weeks to get it in. I was to be back home 750 miles away in 7 days so, I looked on Amazon, found the item, ordered it and it was delivered to my home two days before I arrived. The next day it was installed and works great.

Perfect fit to replace broken original part! Actually, seems to be built sturdier than original which broke in half!

Great. But I have issue with the bare metal ...
According to the seller, this part was subject to cracking. This part was recalled and modified by Snugtop to include a welded reinforcement on the mounting plate. Great. But I have issue with the bare metal not being painted and weak torch welding. When I called to ask the seller about the modified part and lack of quality, they said they are all like that and to call Snugtop.
