Works great! So much fun, quick and easy to use!
Super fun! We live in a very snowy place so this is so much fun to have. It makes fort building very easy! The size is great as it allows you to quickly build walls and forts!

A blast from the past!
Something so simple and yet so fun!I had really wanted to purchase these last year for my boys. This year I did it in time for Christmas. We only had one day of snow to test them out on; however, they worked like a charm and we were able to quickly assemble a brick wall at the end of our driveway. The boys then sped down the driveway on their Tonka dump trucks and creashed through the wall. This scene repeated itself for more than an hour. I can't wait to get more snow and build an igloo like I did as a child! The product is very well made sonctructed of heavy duty plastic. The snow block produced perfect bricks that came out easily. I also love that I am buying a product from a long time US company with a great reputation. Highly recommend!

Pretty fun at the beach, but could be better
Was able to test this out mid winter in Southern California. Some reviews mention that it does not hold sand and yes, if you are using dry beach sand, it is not going to stick. Just like building a sand castle, you need to use wet sand. My biggest gripe about this is the hole in the very top; why even have one? This does allow some sand to escape right out the top. Additionally, when you make blocks, it leaves a heap of sand right on top. Otherwise, a fun beach toy.

Perfect snow day tool!
This worked beautifully in the snow and I can’t wait to try it in the sand. It was easy to use and sturdy enough to handle the job.

Yes, you do need this
Ok, well you don't NEED it, but you know what I mean. When I was looking for a Christmas gift (for my daughter) and a birthday gift for a friend's son, I stumbled upon this. I didn't want to buy them another game, or toy, so I figured something they could use in the cold New England weather while playing outside might be fun. The first snow storm came and we brought these outside with us (we got 2) and we all loved it. We built our daughter a snow castle on our front lawn and received many compliments. It's pretty awesome...and the adults have just as much fun. 5 stars from me means I would buy it again.

Big Brick Maker
I bought this so that the kids could make sand castles easier and faster, but when it arrived I noticed it was huge. It was too heavy to lift with wet sand. This not not for kids under 10 and needs to have one half this size. Otherwise it's a solid product with durable plastic and makes big bricks if building a huge structure like a wall. I will save it whenever it snows.

Works better than you would imagine ...
This little plastic block with handle creates perfect snow blocks to build great snow forts! The bottom (which you can't see in the picture) is open and you can either hold it upside down and put snow in it like a bucket to build your blocks, or you can simply press it into the snow on the ground -- it's very easy. We purchased a couple of these as well as several of the matching red plastic Flexible Flyer Snowball Maker for our boys and the kids in our neighborhood for Christmas -- when the snow comes they have great times building forts and having snowball wars :) We recommend this combination for outdoor winter fun. A great amount of fun for a surprisingly small amount of money. Bon Appetit!

Really great gifts for kids AND adults!
I got six of these and had them shipped all the way to me here in Japan because I just could NOT find anything even close to this simple snow block maker. They came really quickly and, let me say, it was SO worth the price of the shipping. My Japanese friends just FLIPPED over these, they immediately started seeing images of their kids busy building snow / sand forts for hours while they finally got some way overdue P&Q, relaxing in the background sipping on their favorite drinks. And that is JUST what happened when one guy took his kids up to the ski resort last month. He said his two boys were so focused on that fort he couldn't believe it. Said the plastic was lightweight yet sturdy, with little holes making it easy for them to slide the snow blocks out to make a wall. All my friends said they couldn't WAIT till it was time to go to the beach, so they could get nice tans while letting the kids get at it. Until Japanese manufacturers get wise I'll be getting some more of these to gift out. Great!

These are much larger than the ordinary ones that we have found locally. They pack very easily and the block slides out without issues of being stuck. My kids and I assembled an igloo including roof in no time. I would say less than an hour. We don't go outside to play in the snow without them. You can throw up a single fort wall in 5 minutes. Wish I had them sooner. Great buy.
