This is a great idea and product
This is a great idea and product, will keep my chip safe rather than on my dresser (I do not carry mine because I would lose it in one day-I value the 25 year chip I received from my sponsor in June too much to let that happen. The bale, the piece which holds the medallion, is attractive but I expected it to be metal, not thin shiny plastic. It holds the medallion in place but is decorative only, bright parade gloss shiny, and does not seem sturdy. It serves its purpose but is certainly nothing I would wear around my neck regularly. Great idea with room for improvement in terms of the durability of the bale, although that would mean a higher price point I would be willing to pay. Seller is wonderful-shipped quickly, packaged nicely, and arrived in perfect condition-and also followed up with an email.

Looks great on a real gold chain!
We thought it would look cheezy or cheap on a real gold chain, but it looks great! PLEASE make a silver/white gold option!

Coin holder
Seems fragile, I think it's pot metal, don't look for it to last long.

Nice way to Keep & Wear my Coin!
Nice way to carry / wear my coin. Hated carrying it in my pocket, as it always seemed get confused with the change in my pocket. Now I avoid taking it out when trying to pay for coffee! Well made & seems to hold the coin securely, while easily opens to allow replacing with my next coin, in another year!

Cheap, arcade toy quality
The recovery coin holder necklace I received is not at all what I expected. It has very brassy coloring, and feels like a child's penny arcade prize in the hand. There is no weight, I mean zero, and it feels as though I could snap the links just by rolling them between my fingers. The ring itself does not properly fit to hold a recovery coin (and yes, the coin I wanted to use is a Wendell's 1+5/16" chip: "Out Of The Ashes Of Addiction" bronze medallion, with serenity prayer on the back. Size is 1 5/16" purchased at Amazon). I wanted something to at least somewhat match the bronze finish of the medallion (or the would "wear" into tone) and would hold it securely. This does neither. The medallion spins loosely in the holder, and rattles a little when it moves. When I tried to tighten the nut down to hold the coin securely, it cracked and popped loose. Very disappointed.

It's okay
Coin moves/rotates in holder even though screw is as tight as possible without breaking it. Not terribly sturdy but it is the proper size for my tokens.

Good transaction
Perfect fit.

Great for enameled coins.
I initially used this with a brass coin which rotated easily. I used an enamel chip (43 year) which fit snugly.
