Inval Computer Workcenter with Hutch, Espresso-Wengue, Brown, Large

I bought this desk about 5 or 6 months ago, put it together in an hour, piled heavy school textbooks in the hutch, used it daily for a whole semester, moved it around my room, took it completely apart, stuffed it in my car, moved it half way across the country, reassembled it, and I'm now writing a review on the desk I am currently sitting at. Is it made of high quality wood? No. Is it sturdy enough to last a decade? Probably not. But for less than 150 bucks, I honestly will not find a better (new) desk.I'll also note, that most furniture made from compressed wood that has that faux- wood "laminate" coating crap.. (like this desk has).. usually gets damaged pretty fast from liquid spills. Let me tell you. I've had so many spilled beverages on this thing. Some I didn't clean up until they already evaporated... Anyway, point is.. There is ZERO damage to this desk. I use it very heavy.. and rather carelessly, yet it literally looks brand new.

The box was very heavy, i open the box in living room, its was confusing how to Assemble but after few minutes thinking I start Assembling According to manual, some time it feel you can not do this but if you if some previous Assembly Experience you can you do it, at the end you will need one more person to Adjust top part , like bookshelves part, when you join two pieces and don't know how to insert screw and where just mark with pencil for point to math two pieces holes. its look confusing but after 3 hours you can Assemble it. The product was well packaged, and is heavy. You’ll definitely need help moving it. Since all my friends were busy, I had to move and set this up by myself which took me 4 hours. You’ll need your own tools since it didn’t come with tools. I carefully used an electric screwdriver and none of the boards split. I also pulled a muscle wrestling this thing into my second floor apartment. I even dropped it down the stairs, oops, but thankfully that didn’t cause any damage. So, ask for help!! Haha. I took a wash cloth and wipe down each board because it was kind of dusty and a lot of the styrofoam was on it. I created a huge mess, be prepared to vacuum! My neighbors definitely hate me but they do have children who run around and make noise so they shouldn’t be too mad at me since I put up with them. Also, prepare it in the room that it is going to be in, it’s heavy, and there’s little rubber thingies you have to screw to the bottom of the shelf which I’m sure will make dragging it into another room difficult. Thankfully I read other reviews. I haven’t installed the drawl yet, but mine came with screw in rails, I read that a lot of people received rails that had to be hammered in?? So thankful that wasn’t my case.It looks greats, it’s sturdy, and does what it’s intended to do. I can finally be the e-boy I always wanted to be. The hutch is supposed to be screwed in but since I was doing this alone I skipped that part because I was afraid I was going to break it somehow if I lifted it from an awkward position, and so it just sits on the desk. I mean, Everything seems fine, and I don’t think it’ll fall over or anything but I also like knowing I can remove it with ease if I ever do deserve to move out from this complex. Also the shelf that sits under the desk can be bothersome. My gaming chair doesn’t push all the way in but that’s okay. I read that you can build the desk without the shelf but I’m using it to hold one of my speakers. It’s nice to have extra space to place stuff. Anyways I’m really happy with this product! You might just need help to assemble this beast! Anyways I hope you found this helpful! Take care and be safe!

Its a really great looking Desk/Hutch! Easy to assemble. And will fit ALMOST any computer case including FULL size ATX cases.

Desk was easy to put together. Instructions were clear and it looks great in my son's bedroom. It was a little darker than I thought, but my son likes it. Great value for the money.

The space I have for a desk is limited and this fits it perfectly. It ticks every box for me - has a hutch, drawer, my full size tower computer case (9"x10") fits with room to spare, and a little shelf underneath. Plus, the company is great to work with if any issues are encountered.

If you have a lot of free time or a free weekend to spend on a project, this product will fit the bill.Instructions were useless, as was the video. Called Inval and they emailed over an UPDATED ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS! This coupled with the older product video DID HELP. Upon completion (myself only) within 8 or so hours, I was pleased that nothing broke or was too wobly.I do not recommend this product; save your money and splurge for a better product. I am sure the wood quality and instructions would be well worth the cost and less of a headache.
