I received a (12x) box of 2-B's. If you know anything about the hardness of graphite please share your knowledge. I used to think that I understood but then started using pencils more frequently, now I'm confused. I've bought and used hundreds, all makes, soft and hard, and can find no consistency in this H-B grading system. But I will add that these Faber-Castell's are my all-time favourites. Stay sharp for longer, mark the surface with the lightest touch, hardly ever break and are very tactile.
