I can't believe the difference between using this and a regular curling iron. The Chi Spin n Curl creates beautiful curls that last for days. It is easy to customize the settings -- I use low heat and 15 seconds, which works perfectly for my fine hair. It is so easy and fast -- I am done in less than 10 minutes. It rarely gets hair stuck, only when I put too much hair into it, and it then just releases the hair gently. It heats up quickly and works reliably. I was not sure if this was just a gimmicky appliance, but it is not, it is a game changer. I would highly recommend it.

I have extremely thick hair. If I were to curl my hair with a regular wand, it could easily take me 30 minutes or so. With this curler, it’s done in about 10 minutes. I’m also not very great at doing my hair, but this has made it so so so easy. My hair always looks fantastic after using it.You can make tighter or looser curls depending on how you section your hair. I’ve had zero issues with it getting tangled or caught in the curler. Brush hair first, don’t overload the barrel with a lot of hair at once. And it comes with a brush to keep the inside of the barrel clean. It has very clear instructions of how to use and keep it clean.This hair tool is totally worth the price in my opinion. I wish I would have bought it sooner.

My hair never holds a curl, but it did with this iron!!! It was fantastic!!!! Easy to use and set heat/timer it curled my waist length hair in 10 minutes!!! I plan to buy one for all 3 of my daughters in law and my daughter heck all 4 of my sisters as well. I can not express how much I love this product. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Saw this unique hair curler and decided to give it a try. It arrived and was a little awkward to use at first but after a learning curve I have found it to be just what I needed! It has adjustable heat settings and doesn’t require performing gymnastics with your hand like with regular curling irons. You press the button and it wraps your hair around the covered rod, times how long you want to let it curl then alerts you to release! In the case you should get your hair caught in the rod there is a release mechanism that unwinds the hair for easy removal. I like that the hot rod is enclosed thus preventing the likelihood of burns to your head, ears and hands like with a regular curling iron. I have been pleased with this product and would recommend it to my friends!

I have struggled to learn how to use a curling iron forever. I recently got extensions and always wanted to wear my hair curly, but wiuld constantly "crimp" the piece of hair with the curling iron clip. This product is a game changer. It was so easy to use and provides the curling you want. So happy with this purchase, 100% worth it. You can adjust the heating level and type of curling you want. It takes a bit of getting used to at first, but so easy to work with and get a feel for it. There was no burning smell and it felt like I wasn't damaging my hair. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first until I read the directions put it in my hair and it did an awesome job. It was very easy. I made a nice curl. Make sure you use a thermal heat protector because it does get hot and make sure you put hairspray or a light mist at least to keep the curls in place before you brush it. I did my whole head in less than 10 minutes. I had seen this many times and said it’s too hard or confusing or doesn’t work but to my surprise it actually is an awesome invention. Chi it’s always a great brand to buy.

The media could not be loaded. CHI Spin N Curl Rose Gold Curler - Super pretty with a nice design and very easy to use once you get the hang of it! The instructions don’t specifically mention holding your hair over the insert while letting it “hang on the other side of the curler” (it only mentions making sure that it’s in the insert) but that’s basically all you have to make sure you do in order to get it to spin your hair piece in properly. The spinning panels inside only stop after a full rotation so even if you’ve stopped pushing the button, it doesn’t stop spinning for a few seconds at times (until it makes / hits that full rotation) which makes it inconvenient and doesn’t hold the end section of your hair piece properly at times. If your hair piece isn’t thick enough to stay wrapped around the barrel all the way, the end comes out straight while the rest is curled. It’s hard to check this while it’s wrapped in because once you’ve moved the curler lower / over a little your hair starts to become undone. Then if your hair piece is too thick, the curl is scrunched and close together or just not a full curl. I curled almost my full head and my hair basically looked like a “messier curl / scrunched” style. Sadly my curls come out better just using a regular wand curler. I will say, this curler is definitely “Effortless” and makes curling easier, it just needs a few adjustments to provide better curls in my opinion. A nice function it does have is the beeping function that will beep 4 times once you’ve set and wrapped your hair piece around the barrel to let you know that your hair should be ready to pull out of the curler at that time, which is nice and helpful. There are 2 buttons on the handle near the higher part of the curler that you can choose from to determine which way you want your hair piece curled - this is genius, that way you don’t have to worry about figuring out which way to hold your curler to get your curls to come out in the right direction! There’s also an option to change how high / low you want the heat to be (like most curlers) along with a digital display. Overall a Decent Curler but sadly not worth the Amount it’s going for (currently listed for $99.99, I got mines for sale for $67.45 - all before tax) in my opinion especially since the curl outcome for this doesn’t beat my regular wand curler at home. I’d recommend this for anyone that struggles with curling in general but if you’re experienced and/or looking for consistent, nice salon style curls, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

This is so easy to use. I’ve owned it for more than a year and I bought it when I was planning to travel to Vegas for a wedding. I received a lot of compliments on my hair and I was able to curled it quickly and not damage my hair or burn myself. It had different temperature settings, a timer and an alarm if hair gets caught up the wrong way. You can also change the direction the barrel spins to add volume to the curls. I have medium length, fine hair and am finish with my curls in about 10 minutes.
