Beautiful Flag case for 4 x 6 flag.

Given to a postmaster when she retired. She was presented the flag that flew over her office the day she retired. It’s well made and actual glass rather than plastic. She was totally overwhelmed with this item and what it stood for.

Very good material

The flag case was for a colleague getting ready to retire from Federal Service. It is well made, looked good, has beveled glass and is easy to close/open. There was enough room for an engraved plate on the lower edge. It was also packed extremely well, as I was nervous that it would not arrive unbroken. You can hang it or display on shelf or furniture. If displaying on furniture, just add little felt dots underneath to protect the surfaces. But even at that, there is nothing that would scratch the shelf or furniture (just a little added protection). This a great value for the piece. I will be purchasing more cases for other colleague who will retiring this year.

I bought this as a retirement gift for a co-worker. The color of the wood is beautiful, and it looks very natural. It arrived with a little nick that I had to improvise to fix. It all turned out great though.

My retirement flag was flown over the USS Arizona. Although my shipmates gave me with a wonderful combination flag-shadow box, it was not designed for a 4 x 6 foot flag. I have searched for a flag display case for a 4x6, but they are extremely hard to find and when you do, they are priced anywhere from $100 to $200. This case was unbelievably priced and I was extremely pleased with its quality. Very well constructed and its finish was professional. It was also packaged to avoid shipping damage. I highly recommend this case.

The price is great, color/stain is consistent. Joints are tight. The item is extremely well packed and there would have to be a hole in the box to cause any damage to this item.You will have to clean some residue off inside of glass before filling. Use the lid to make a template for blind folds. looks great. Properly folded flag will have gaps around edges. Also be careful with stitched stars as they will snag on corners when you are filling case.Great case will order again.
