It works great as long as it's wet and you spray it directly on the cat and the bedding but when it dries it doesn't work so well. Love the smell-makes the house smell nice.

I had used this brand of product on my dogs a few years back as a means of protecting them from fleas when we couldn't afford the oral medication for them. It works very well and immediately kills the fleas. You just have to keep applying it every few days to keep the fleas off your pet. It also works well to spray the house should one of your animal friends bring in unwanted guests from their trip outside. They will also travel inside on humans as they don't much care, they just want a free ride inside.Having previously used this on my dogs, I thought hey why would it not work as well for the cat.HaHaHa, Silly me! What was I thinking? Yes the product worked fine. Applying it was the interesting part.For those of you experiencing this for the first time, I recommend leather welders gloves and the leather jacket to go with it. For us, it was a two person job. I donned the gloves and held down the sweet little domestic kitty turned angry saber toothed tiger, while my wife sprayed her with this. We placed a sheet on the floor and I held onto the tiger with both hands as she literally shredded the sheet beneath her while we tried to gently apply the spray. The cat was NOT a happy camper! She was so mad, she didn't speak to me for days! ;) We used this treatment twice as we were having a real battle getting rid of an infestation. After two applications, it was just too stressful for the cat and we went out and purchased the oral medication for her which was just so much easier on us all. We used the spray to treat the house which proved to be affective in combination with the oral medication for the cat. The product works well. Easier on dogs, but either way, it'll do the trick.

Disclaimer: this product will not rid you of an infestation.I really liked this spray. It smelled like peppermint (very strongly) which didn't bother me at all. It felt very satisfying to spray those little jumping fiends, because it was visibly repulsive to them. However, I'm not really sure if this actually killed the fleas or just made them uncomfortable.For the record, I had a pretty bad infestation by the time I broke down and started using chemical products around my cat. No amount of vacuuming or salt can fix the problem, though, so I tried this.I sprayed every exposed inch of my home. I used the whole bottle in one inning, and sprayed EVERYTHING. It didn't seem to help.I blame myself for that outcome, because there's just no way to spray absolutely every flea, so even if this spray killed them on contact as advertised, it wouldn't have ridden my of the infestation.Still, I tested with it a little bit, just to see.If you put an average adult flea in a tupperware, it will live for days, if not weeks. It varies dramatically.If you spray a flea with this spray and then put it into a tupperware container, it will live for several days afterwards, but it does die quicker than an unsprayed flea.The only way to kill a flea within an hour of spraying it, is to completely submerge the flea in this spray. Obviously, a flea that is simply in or on the carpet when you spray with this won't be utterly submerged, so I'd argue that this spray does not actually kill on contact.However, if you keep your expectations more realistic than mine were and you don't expect this to fix the problem all on its own, this spray is very useful as a supplement. Spray the carpet before you vacuum, and you will vacuum up about double as many fleas as you otherwise would have. Spray it on your bed, and you won't have any fleas jumping on you when you're trying to sleep. Spray your cat's bed, and they'll be safe when they're sitting on it. This spray works as an excellent deterrant to fleas. In fact, anything with peppermint in it will act as a good deterrant to fleas-- they can't stand the smell. (Just use caution when spraying essential oils around your cat or on surfaces that your cat frequents, as too much of them can make the kitty sick when s/he cleans him/herself)With that said, is this product a magic fix-all for fleas?No. No, and you shouldn't have expected it to be. I shouldn't have expected it to be.Is it worth the money to buy it anyway?Yes, definitely. If you have fleas and you haven't gotten around to bombing them yet, this is a fantastic way to handle the problem in the meanwhile.For a very minor infestation, it might be enough to keep things under control, alongside an effective medication that you put directly on your cat. (For that, I'd recommend Adventure Plus, which is what I used to keep the fleas off my cat during/ever since the infestation.)In severe cases, no amount of sprays or medications will solve the problem, and you may eventually have to face the reality that you have to flea bomb your house just to get rid of them- I sure did- but this spray is a great addition to your attack on the evil little buggers.

Works good and fast . Great value for money . The $14 bottle was enough to treat one room twice (the carpet , pet bed , my bed and I sprayed on a cloth and wipe down some appliances ) . With in maybe one hour I noticed fleas were dying (that started to rise to the surface and couldn’t jump anymore , I could pick them with a comb and drop in a bowl of soapy water . I would note I did stay in the room after spraying , but if u have asthma or any breathing problems I recommend to wait atleast an hour (2 to be safe, but the more the better) after being in the room for 10 mins I started to feel like I had a chest infection or breathing was just uncomfortable, but it went away after the carpet was dry thats it . I did spray a bit on my cats fur but the fleas ran to her under area near her private and the bottle specifically says do not put near the private area , so I dnt think it’s much effective on pets since the fleas can avoid it and the product needs contact to fleas . Used a topical cream the next day on my cat and now majority of my fleas have been dealt with .This is a good product , it’s more natural , nice smell , works fast and drys quick

We had flea infestation and my cat is always scratching her neck. She sleeps also on or bed so us humans were affected. I bought this on july 2022 and came earlier than expected. I’ve been cleaning the room entirely and doing laundry daily and changing bed sheets but only this product helped ease our flea infestation. But it really hurts in the human eyes i tell you its like when u spray it theres a menthol in ur eyes. If u will spray stay away as humans and bring pets to another room

A re-purchase. This is an excellent product without harmful chemicals.

Started using it. No irritation or strong smell, my cat is calm after using in upholstery. It did clean the surface as well. Happy with the product.
