OTC 4620 Universal Battery Carrier

This worked well for changing out the factory battery in my C7 ZO6. It is well made and will last a lifetime if not abused.

I have older Honda Odyssey and was able to remove the old car battery and replace with a new one with this tool. I am am 60+ woman with some shoulder issues and those batteries are heavy! This clamp held the battery securely so I could maneuver it in and out of position. I didn’t need to ask for help. Very pleased with it! As someone else mentioned, it can be used for anything that will fit inside the jaws so may be handy for other things.

My coworkers and I found use for these for lifting concrete test cylinders in and out of water curing tanks. Also for lift 6”X6”X21” concrete beams 60 to 65 lbs each. We tend to wear out the teeth and I used mine or let my crew use them so much that leather ripped at ribbit connection. Other cowers mentioned that I shouldn’t let them get to wet while pulling samples out of water. May have caused leather to fail. This is my second set of carriers. Can’t do job without them.

Work for roadside and do mobile battery installs. This is what style we carry. So far I have not had any issues with any batteries slipping out of its grasp but another tech mentioned that the claws may lift the battery top on batteries if not grabbed correctly, but personally I’ve never had an issue and this is my second after my first got stolen/misplaced. I’ve used it to lift batteries from 51, 86, 34, 35, 24, 27, 48, 94, 27 etc.. it does work and works well. I highly recommend writing your name on the inside and outside of the handle. A child in kindergarten could use this properly.

I use this daily as a battery service professional for AAA and it hasn’t failed me yet, other guys at work have ordered them from you guys after seeing mine, It is the best bang for the buck and they don’t hurt the batteries like the competitors brands.I would have to say We are Totally Satisfied with this product!

Does what it's supposed to do. Great for batteries that don't have handles especially when they are in tricky spots.

Works great, tough. Still holding up to the abuse of a shop setting. Highly recommend

La pince est simple et facile à utiliser. J'ai réussi à sortir mes deux batteries 6V cycle profond de leur boîte sur mon VR sans problème. La poignée en cuir est large et ne blesse pas la main. Finalement. l'outil est plat et se range facilement sans prendre beaucoup de place.
