Crack-Stix 125 Foot 1/2" Blacktop Crack Filler

Worked better than expected, in fact couldn't be easier. 1. Pick the crack to attack. 2. Clean crack with wire brush and follow with air from leaf blower or air compressor. 3. Place tar stick in crack and melt until it flows.I found I could use the stick roll like a faux brazing rod and fill in the small cracks easily. Important to wear heat resistant gloves and pay attention to the flow. I worked my way down hill, a little at a time to prevent ponding. Notice I used a rock as a dam to allow the product to fill to the edge. I used a standard torch with both propane and Mapp gas, preferring the latter. For the final smoothing, I used the Amazon recommend angle handle attachment which worked great as well. Supper happy getting this done without paying $$$ and having a smelly hot tar bucket in my driveway all day.

I used this product to fill several cracks in my 20 year old asphalt driveway and it works great. Easy to use and lasts several years. I suggest you tap it into crack with a hammer to get it in place before you melt it with a torch. I bought the long torch that was recommended and it worked great also. Great product.

If you don’t clean the cracks too deep, this product works great! In my case, however… I went over them twice. Backer rod as a filler when torched is a total waste, as it quickly disappears.It’s very easy to use, durable, and a great value.Although I didn’t get the cracks level, there are zero weeds growing in them now.

Came very quick and works very well. Takes more heat than expected to flow but it seems to make a fantastic repair

I had a slab of concrete with a 3/4 inch wide gap. The previous owners routed a gutter drain uphill from this crack and caused a huge void under the two slabs. I filled the void with very thin concrete mix up to the bottom of the slabs. I then laid several sticks of this in the crack and used a 2 inch weed burner to melt it in place. This took 2 separate applications and they bonded well to each other. I then used it on other smaller cracks, using just one stick melted in.

Purchased to repair cracks in our driveway. High quality. Little more expensive than would’ve thought, but it worked.

This melts well with the use of a propane torch which I also bought on Amazon. Dries fairly quick. Highly recommend to fill cracks. Recommend warming the air to be filled and then put the crack- stix product on that area and it will stick in place. Then you can melt it. Great coverage

Great for cooking in the slightly thicker cracks. Didn't stick together in the van. Melted in easily.

This product is great for filling cracks in Pavement. Used before so I knew how good it worked.
