Great product. Better know what you are doing with It!
So.. let me tell y’all about my acid peel experience. 😬As I get older, I’m starting to get more and more wrinkles. We all age, we all get wrinkles. 👵🏼So about 2 months, I have started a nightly face wash and moisturize routine to take care of my skin I’m in. 🥰Note: I’m horrible with reading reviews.. so I read these reviews.. all said that this product was amazing. 👍🏼Reading the reviews, NOBODY.. no 👏🏼bii👏🏼 deee👏🏼 said to start on a lower % if not experienced or used to this product.. 😳 So this is 70%. SEVENTY PERCENT. Not 10, not 30, not 50.. 70!Not really understanding the small simple directions on the bottle, I YouTubed It. Found an amazing video that helped me through this process. Did it step by step. Thank god for this video bc if not I would be in the hospital right now.The moment I brushed this on my face, instant REGRET! Feeling like I face planted into a fire pit, feeling like I met the devil down in hell, looking like my blood pressure is 280/190, closest thing to hell I have ever witnessed. 🔥The LONGEST 4 minutes of my life! And to do this weekly??? 😒 This will make you embrace the wrinkles, embrace feeling normal, embrace French fries, everything. 😫Maybe I’m a puss but this will make any man cry 😂🤷🏻♀️P.S. I’m ok! Just not sure if I’ll visit the pits of hell and lava anytime soon ✌🏼****And this product did exactly what It was supposed to do .. I would recommend It to anybody who knows what they are doing bc clearly I didn’t 😂****

Be extremely careful! Very strong.
I have a hard time believing the reviews that say this did nothing! This product is not messing around when it says it is for professionals. The first time I used it, I diluted to 20%. It stung so bad, I could only last about 1 minute before I neutralizded with baking soda. Diluted even further the second time, stayed on about 2 minutes, and I had 2 places on my face that looked like a heavy sunburn.. I think I didn't neutralize those spots enough. All I can say, is BE CAREFUL with this product.Okay, 3 years later... I am still on this first bottle. This stuff is so strong I have a hard time it believing it is even on the market! I use it rarely and always dilute it with water in HALF or more. Maybe my skin is just more sensitive than most? The last time I used it, the burning was worse right after I applied a baking soda paste. It burned a small spot on my chin. My face is flaked a little. I really wanted to remove a few dark spots, but I don't think I'll be using this product, again.

NOT FOR BEGINNERS, but really effective exfoliant
If you are new to skin peels, this is not the product for you. Start with something less concentrated. I have used peels for a long time and worked my way up to this product. It is important to follow directions to the letter, have a neutralizer on hand ready to apply, and do not leave on your face longer than recommended.Having said that, this peel is the bomb! It left my skin feeling so smooth, and about a week later, after my skin recovered from the peel (it's normal for the next several days to experience less than amazing skin- peeling, dryness, sensitivity, but that is because the product is working to turn over those skin cells) my skin looked and felt amazing. Smoother, brighter, plumper, and more vital.Since this is a pretty intense peel, you WILL feel some stinging/tingling/mild burning sensation when it is on your skin. To me, this felt just like the peels I would get at the spa and spend $100 on, and those were very intense, but effective, so I wasn't too worried. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO LEAVE ON LONGER than the recommended time, which is 1 minute. This peel is very strong, and you can cause pretty severe irritation or chemical burns if you try to leave it on longer. Also, I recommend prepping the skin with 50% strength rubbing alcohol or witch hazel as directed before using the peel. I found this really improved my results.I also had a neutralizer on hand made of baking soda and purified water to apply as soon as time was up. You can buy a neutralizer online for about $12, or you can spend $1 like I did on some Arm and Hammer. Make sure to rinse all of the product thoroughly, then apply the neutralizer.I don't recommend using this product too frequently. It is a very intense peel, so for me, it's a once a month treatment. I use lower concentration peels in between. The directions say you can dilute the product with distilled water, but I haven't tried diluting it.If you are sued to spending big bucks for effective peels at the spa, this product is an amazing value. You get numerous treatments for a fraction of the cost of just one in-spa peel. If you apply the product with a fan brush, as recommended, you actually need to use very little product, so one bottle will give you numerous treatments.

DOES NOT WORK
This product has zero percent acid in it.It’s a scam of a product in my opinion.

What changed?
The first time I bought this I loved it. Second time it had a weird smell and barely any potency. Wasn't worth the buy The second time around. Didn't do what it was supposed to. Bummed because this was my go to!

Good DIY peel
I’m familiar with glycolic peels. I can feel the tingling and burning sensation immediately. I can leave on my face for 4-5 mins with no problems and this achieves the peeling I expect.Pic on left is day after peel. Pic on right is 5 days later. I apply the acid to a cotton pad and apply to clean face. I do it when I don’t have to be in public for the next few days. It will immediately tingle and burn, somewhat uncomfortable but not unbearable. Because this is 70%, first time leave on for 1-2 min MAX. If you tolerate it well, extend time in 2-3 weeks. Normal effects are redness and spots like you see in my photo. They will go away in a few days. You should experience some peeling. It’s a peel. After time is up, I rinse thoroughly with cool water. No neutralizer but you could use one. Water does the trick you just have to be sure you rinse, rinse, rinse.Pat dry. Apply good moisturizer. That’s it. DO NOT apply around eyes or get on lips.
