I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

Love this. Easy to assemble and love using it. Quality made. Not that noisy. It vacuums well in wood and tile floors. It small enough to hide in storage room.

I was skeptical about buying this but im so glad I did. I thought my floors were clean but they werent. I ended up using three of the four pads because it cleans so well. Its lightweight, easy to put together, sleek design and functions great. Its a bit of a learning curve but to someone who's disabled I love that it's so light that I can switch hands when one gets tired and I can also sit in my walker and use it. It dries instantly and the cleaner smells great. Im so glad I listened to my sister and purchased My floors look great now.

I was originally going to give this 3 stars, but after getting used to it, I’ve actually started to like it. Having owned 3different Swiffer's, O-Cedar mops, the Bona mop, a Dyson, and a few inexpensive electric vacuums, I definitely have a lot to compare it to. The SharkVac has been a really handy tool for fast, everyday cleanups. It is lightweight and has a comfortable fit in the hand, which makes the vacuum portion super easy to maneuver. The design is sleek and practical, and overall, the build feels durable and well-made for a quick clean piece of equipment. It's different from the others because the actual filter for crumb pick up is in the mop pad itself - which I've never seen before. This is pretty cool. However, the drawback is that they get you to have to buy the pads with the specific pockets in it. The vacuum suction is strong and the quality is definitely there for quick debris pickup. My only issues come when using the mop feature. Once the mop pad gets wet, the unit becomes noticeably harder to push, so you definitely need some arm strength to get through mopping larger areas. It doesn’t leak, but the added resistance makes the experience less smooth. Overall, I would say it’s a reliable, durable cleaner with great suction and a lightweight design for quick everyday use. Good for light vacuuming and quick touch-ups but can get expensive to keep buying the specific pads for this vacuum.

So far so good. I bought this for my daughter who has two kids and two big shedding dogs and she is in love. It took forever to get the vacuum/mop but she was soooo happy cleaning the whole house with it. She said it light and cleans well. She’s only had it for about a week but I’m keeping my fingers crossed it lasts. Will update review if it conks out.

Absolutely love this vac mop makes cleaning up crumbs and spills from my toddler quick and easy. No longer a chore to sweep and mop, I do it with my three month old in one arm. And the shark mop soap smells sooo good it swivels around my chairs and hard to reach places, no real assembly required very simple. Suction is great and my daughter loves that her feet and socks black from walking around anymore

This is great for crumbs and in between your major floor cleanings. Like the small crumbs that fall you can just swipe them up. Super light weight. The crumbs collect in the bottom pad so when your done you just toss the pad out. No dirt container to empty out. So it keeps the machine clean as well. Its not for like deep cleaning but this def is nice and I personally like it better than the $300 vaccum mops. Better than swiffer because it sucks up crumbs and you dont have to vaccum first. Just nice thing to have. Great gift as well. My sister loves hers.

I bought this to replace a Swiffer Vac. It's really a vacuum assisted dust mop. I've owned 4 of them over the years to daily abd sometimes multiple times to vaccum dog hair from 2 long haired mutts. Actually they are registered Kusavz so maybe not mutts. The Swiffers did a decent job but not powerful enough to pick up much other than hair and dust. The main problem was the batteries degraded pretty fast and were not replaceable. Originally they were nicad but the last one was lithium. Still faded to where it would only run for a couple of minutes. The Swifter was discontinued but even with it's short comings I would have bought another. The Shark VacMop is recommended as an alternative replacement. I have a large corded Shark vacuum that does s good job so I decided to try the VacMop. Here's my pro and cons of the Swiffer and Shark. The Shark has more sucking power. The Swiffer cannot pick up cat litter while the Shark can with no problem. The Shark's pads are expensive and do not glide over the floor like the Swiffer does. The Shark pad has collects what ever is vacuumed up where the Swiffer has a filtered cup that can be dumped. The Swiffer pads are comparably inexpensive and I change daily. The Swiffer has an on/off switch. The Shark had a trigger that you must hold down to keep it going. Much prefer the Swiffer toggle. I doubt I will use the mop feature on the Shark. I have a Swiffer Wet Jet that does a good job and I have pads that can be washed and reused. I really wanted to like the Shark but more disappointed than pleased. I did purchase a chinese cordless vac that fell apart the first time the handle got dropped. My perfect cordless would be a Swiffer with the power of the Shark with replaceable batteries like my Ego blower. No need for the mop feature. There are wet pads available for the Swiffer that do a decent job for quick cleanup of dirty paw prints. I would not purchase the Shark again but I'll use it until something better comes along.
