Easy to install
I liked the fact that this was easy to install, and it works well. What I didn't like about it was that the old part was good as well, but I just kept the new one anyway because I thought I could fix this machine myself and I did for the most part, for penny's less than paying someone to fix the machine. I learned a lot about washing machines & saved a little bit of money doing it myself.

Solved my lid-lock not locking issue (red led blinking & agitate cycle not starting)
All the components are included. Just like the OEM parts. Easy to install if you're a fix-it type. Fixed my Amana machine which after it filled with water, did not go into the agitate part of the cycle, because the control board was not getting the short circuit signal from the lock mechanism. So when this happens the red "lid locked" light just blinks, and you can hear the lid lock trying repeatedly to lock. All fixed now!! Yippee!!

Easy to install and replaces oem part perfectly
Took less than 5 minutes to install and functions perfectly. Could be cheaper but definitely worth it to save $200 on a repair service.

Did not fix the dryer...But this what worked for me...
Did not work for me. If you find yourself here with the same washer issue about door lock. Pay attention how I found and repaired the problem. When washer would try and start it had a Error. Long story short. flip the washer over on it’s side and look under to see if the belt came off of the of the pulley. If so check to see if the pulley is loose. My pulley was loose and leaning to one side causing the belt to come off. So I removed the bolt to the pulley and added a washer to it to allow the pulley to contact the shaft better. So far so good.

Worked but....
Ok the lock works fine, looks like the factory part and fixed my washer. I gave it 4 stars because the lid latch was in a separate bag from the lock and would not work together. The lacht wouldn't fit in the lock when assembled preventing the lid from closing. I put the old lacht back on and they work fine together. A small nuisance when the wife just wanted a new washer instead of replacement part.
