If you're on making a single shot of espresso, you would be good, but if you're doing a double shot, you're going to need one for each spout.

Do these have rubber plugs in the base?

The answer that "ALL glass-double walled glasses/mugs do" is wrong because the question was "do these have a rubber plug" There are double walled all glass that are sealed with glass only. During the manufacturing they seal it with more glass. It's not perfectly smooth, but close. I think Bodum offers one with this type of seal over the manufacturing hole. I am sure others do as well. They will be more expensive for sure.
