Electric Guitar 3 Way Toggle Switch Pickup Selector Switch with Brass Tip Knob (Gold)

This switch is a solidly well built unit that feels as solid as a switchcraft at half the price. I ordered it for my Les Paul but when I got it the gold and brass looked so good I used it on my Hamer Studio and put the switch from the Hamer into the LP. The Hamer has gold hardware so it was like the finishing touch and looks awesome. Functions flawlessly. No noise and really smooth but firm. I'm ordering another for the LP soon.

It does the job it's supposed to do. It's a switch. The gold color is definitely more brass than GOLD, but that's because it's obviously made out of brass. In a world of more or less identical Gibson-style switches, it's perfectly average. I've used tons of these and this is no different.The only point that gets taken off the score is because of the tip. There's a big ugly mark where it was cut from the sprue, and it's a little rough. The rest of it is a brushed finish so it's really obvious. I'm sure if i cared I could use varying grit sandpaper to buff out the sprue mark and maybe a lot of people already have come to this conclusion on their own. I just don't have the will to do so. It's just a little clunky, it doesn't have that "finished" feeling. It's a standard screw mount so literally any other tip could be used, even another brass or gold-colored tip. I was putting this in a guitar I intended on selling immediately so it wasn't worth the extra work for me.So anyway if you want a gold-colored switch, this does the job. It could be more attractive with more work is all.

This switch is not bad. The gold finish is the best part it looks great. The functionality of it isn’t bad but it does pop back to neutral position ( both neck and bridge on) with the slights tap. I once flipped the guitar onto its back and the switch activated just by the motion. It doesn’t seem to stay in the selected position well and likes to go back to center. I’ve tweaked it a little and it improved but I don’t think it will last long based on the design. I’m using it for now and may need to replace it in the future but it’s on a guitar I don’t use daily so time will tell. The nicest part is the switch tip is actually metal so kudos to the company for a tip that will probably outlast several switches. Overall not too bad.

I like the stronger spring that return it in the middle position with speed and no worry's. It's ready to get LOUD with no snap spark or hum buz.
