I store the thermometer I have in this because I do house calls and need to check temperatures on everyone since the Covid-19 pandemic started. By preserving the molded plastic insert from the box the thermometer came in and transferring it into this case, held by the elastic strap, my thermometer is well protected and no longer activates accidently in my soft-sided messenger bag that holds all my equipment. No complaints, would buy again at this point (4-6 weeks old).
