Great product and value
This valve works great. Our old water valve was leaking by real slow and it made the machine smell real bad. Everything works like it should now with the new water valve

Exactly what I needed to get kitchen operations back on track.
So I was getting the overflow warning lights and the unit wouldn't complete the cycle. Keeping my hand on the water line after starting the cycle indicated that the fill valve wasn't closing after the solenoid clicked to shut the water off (could feel that water was still flowing when it should not have been). The price on Amazon was 1/3 of my local parts place so I got this one on the way ASAP. To keep wifey from spending all our money on takeout until this was fixed, I managed to run full cycles by hanging out next to the dishwasher while it ran and manually closed the shutoff under the sink after hearing the solenoid click. In my case, the solenoid valve would actually fully close when the pressure was relieved like this, so I could then re-open the shutoff under the sink so it would be ready for the next call for water. For my model, the Quick cycle calls for water 4 times: initial rinse, the wash cycle, and two rinse cycles. So like a pilot guiding in a heavily damaged 747 with a cool, steady hand on the throttles to maintain control of his ailing craft full of precious lives, I sat on the floor and manually closed and opened the shutoff valve at the critical moments to get those dishes clean without having wash them in the sink like a caveman. Use this time to watch the how-to videos on how to swap the valve. The part arrived. Since you can see and feel both sides of the valve by pulling the dishwasher out of the counter by about a foot, you're going to think this will be a 10-minute job. See my pic with the green arrow. Haha, nope! Samsung engineers thought that would make it way too easy and no fun. You need an additional 1/4" of gap to pull the valve out even if nothing is connected to it. So break out the wet/dry vac, some cardboard so you don't scratch up your floors, and bring in the toolbox because you're about to literally disconnect everything and completely remove the unit like the day you brought her home. Then you'll lay it on its back where residual water will run out. You'll see in the how-to videos that you'll have to remove a couple panels and the control board housing to eventually get the space needed to swap the valves (see my pic with green circle where the valve lives). Then reverse the entire process to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Took me just over an hour to do this, and although it was a pain it's still better than paying a tech to do it.The valve itself was an exact match and none of my woes were the fault of this valve. I'm very happy with the end result since things are back to normal and everyone is happy.

It worked
My Samsung dishwasher (model DW7933LRASR) was starting a cycle but then stopping shortly after, at which point the Smart Auto light would flash. I did some searching online and discovered that the problem was likely a bad water inlet valve. This part did fix my problem, but I would not say it was easy to install. You have to pull out the dishwasher and take off many components to safely get to the old inlet valve to remove it, and then replace it with the new one. I followed along with a YouTube video I found done by RepairClinic.com. They have been life savers for me when trying to fix appliances on my own, which is much cheaper than paying someone else to do it.

Spraying water all over the floor
This product starting spraying water out after not even installing 2 months ago. Would not recommend. Water went through the floor down into the ceiling in the basement. Never buying an off brand valve again!
