my childhood game it runs really well on windows 11 it feels great to be playing this again. not the best game in the series but it still holds up

Rainbow 6 Lockdown
Tom Clancy shooter game are always entertaining. This game down loaded without problems and was playable all through the game with out interruptions. Its and earlier release so don't expect the graffics to be perfect by today's standards.

As i have said before i will give all my Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six games 5 stars.These are part of my collection.Hope to play it soon.I'm still trying to get to this game.

Don't even try to play it on Win7 or higher. The required copy protection program that installs with the game permanently screwed my windows registry and I had to reformat my computer. For the amount of time that I did get to play it, I would say it is probably the worst Rainbow Six game ever made. Just a WAY dumbed-down version of Raven Shield, with slightly better graphics. Go play Raven Shield instead.

Starforce killed it and my PC
No matter how fun a game is, Starforce CD protection kills it... and your PC too.Search boycott starforce and you'll see. Horrible.I'll now carefully avoid all Starforce games. They can kill your DVD-RW drive rendering it useless. Copy protection only hurts the legitimate user. Pirates are gonna copy it anyways. Whats the point of destroying my PC....Don't buy this game or any game with Starforce protection in it.

COOP would be fun But single player is too outdated. No nostalgic feelings.
The game runs in Windows 10 just fine. I have a FX8350, Radeon 7970... so it works on newer video cards/CPU's/OS.I don't remember if I did anything special to make it run. But It works. Maybe I did the NO CD crack.However, I just don't like the game. I run out of ammo. You don't get enough ammo for a mission. Your squad is not very smart and can't rely on them to do anything... so I run out of ammo. I feel that the most tactical part of this game is conserving ammo. I only played the first mission and I for-saw the rest of the game. I'm not even wasting ammo I'm hitting my targets.I am a military squad leader why am I running out of ammo?I like playing old games. The most recent old game I played was Max Payne 2 in Win 10.I really liked the Ghost Recon Series. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is just 1 year ahead of this game and its miles apart in terms of AI inteligence. So its not like I am new to Tom Clancy Games... I know they are frustrating to begin with.. I just can't play this game knowing the horrid AI and opponents. 1 year later they got it a little smarter and its hard to go backwards.What made me buy this game? - The COOP mode looks like alot of fun in youtube videos. If you can play COOP mode with a friend it might be fun to play. However, the single player experience is not good enough for nostalgic old game players like me.I even feel that Ghost Recon 2001 was a better game your computer allies didnt move but atleast they were a bit smarter.
