Great portable emulator
This thing is great. I love the size and it feels sturdy. Button presses feel great. Once I figured out to format my 128gb microsd card to FAT32, it worked amazing. My only complaint is the volume. It has no problem being loud, but there is no real in-between. It doesn't hurt my review since I usually play this portable and on silent or with headphones anyway so not to disturb others. It's really nice and the price is right. It does come with some pre-loaded ROMs, so you don't need to run out for the second card slot.

About as many cons as pros but overall I'd say get it.
The PocketGO v2 from Bittboy is a little hard to recommend. For every plus I can name I'll give you just as many negatives. Performance is very good but corners were cut to get to the low price. Personally I'm ok with it to save a few bucks. It has worked with every game I've thrown at it with the exception of 32x and I was aware that 32x was not supported so no big deal. Perhaps not surprisingly it works best with Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games being a handheld. And thankfully there are so many good games on those platforms you could play nothing else and still never get bored. Ok about those cons. The materials are a bit lackluster but not terrible. The Analog "nub" is basically useless. Fortunately the d-pad is pretty excellent. The speaker is too loud even at it's lowest setting. The Rogue CFW that everyone was installing on the previous v2 doesn't work with the upgraded v2 at the time of this post. I assume that will get sorted out. In the meantime the firmware that ships with the unit works well enough. I really like the dual sd-card setup they use as it makes it very easy to add and remove games. My unit had a weird issue that is apparently common enough that people have made blog posts and youtube videos about it but sometimes the unit will not power on even after a full charge. Pulling the battery out and reseating it seems to fix this for me. Overall no matter the negatives this handheld is super fun. It is full of quirks to be sure but you'll never stop having fun with it. If you like the RG350 but can live without the analog sticks (you can) you can get essentially the same machine for $45 less. I say go for it.======Update 5/14/2020=======I wanted to update my review having had a couple of weeks with the PocketGO V2. The Dpad that I said was excellent is anything but. In most games it's just fine but if you need any kind of precision you will be dissapointed. Playing the NES Legend of Zelda is frustrating as it's very difficult to get Link pointed in the direction you want. On the pro side, I said 32x was unplayable. This is not true. You just need a newer copy of the emulator. Look around for Picodrive. I am using v1.95 and games play at full speed.

Can't justify the $70 price tag.
Portable emulation devices are being developed at a rapid rate. Only 1 to 2 years ago, we hadportable emulation devices that couldn't compare to this Pocketgo 2. Flaws are expected as these devices are not first party.I bought this to play various gb, gba, and ps1 games; however I was disappointed to find out that the system had flaws that I couldnt ignore. Below are pros and cons.Pros:- Plays games well. I had no issue playing fast paced games as well as JRPG strategy games.- Buttons are robust and work well.Cons:- The Analog stick is awful. It sucks and can spin.- The lowest volume setting is painfully loud. The only way it could be adjusted is within the emulator itself. I noticed that only the included ps1 emulator could adjust the volume by altering the "master volume".Now my Pocketgo came broken on three important aspects. Especially when considering that this was $74 after taxes...1. I could not adjust the brightness. It was so bright that it could be used as a flashlight. I checked the included instructions, Reddit posts, and youtube videos; but it seems that my device could not adjust the brightness.2. Constant white noise from the device. The sound quality is not good as it seems distorted. Most likely due to the aforementioned volume issue where the lowest volume setting is way too loud.3. My device could not charge. I tried using my own cables, the provided cables, and I checked various websites to troubleshoot the issue. My device could not charge and the battery kept going down.I returned my Pocketgo 2 and I think I'm going to wait until the portable emulation device market releases an improved version of the Pocketgo. I would have kept the device if mine didn't come broken. I could live with the cons, but the broken important features made the device not worth it.

Great retro game system if you know tech.
I'm experienced with many types of file systems etc. so this system was a breeze for me to figure out. I had all my games set up very quickly, and I've been enjoying this so much. It's great to have a game system that isn't my phone, I can really get more deeply into the game. Thanks.

The idea is better then the execution
Product came defective. Charged but would not power on. After looking up online i tried all the pulling battery and putting sd card in then battery but no go. The pc wouldnt read the micro sd card in my card reader or the adapter. So i cant even tell you if its any good because it was a dead system and sd card didnt work so i wasnt going to even try a fresh install of any firmware. But what i can tell you is the battery door was loose the joystick was horrible and it rattled because of the loose battery door and the horrible shoulder buttons. So this was a return wasnt even intrested in a exchange. Will keep looking for something to play my roms
