Chinook seeds not only have a great flavor, especially this variety pack. They also contain less salt which is not just healthier, but it keeps your mouth from getting torn up and sore like some other brands. Hatch Chile and Parmesan Pepper were my favorite. The cinnamon toast was definitely different, kind of like the cinnamon toast flavor from some soft pretzels.

My husband loved the seeds. He is not easy to please when it comes to his sunflower seeds.The first bag was stale, and he didn't want to try the others. The next day, he decided to try another bag; to his surprise, it was great. He has almost eaten all the bags. He has now noticed them in different stores. As the gift giver, his wife, I was disappointed that the bags of seeds did not come in some type of box like the one shown in the picture on Amazon.

Not sure what to say here. The seeds were fresh and were big. I also liked the variety of flavors that came in the pack. The problem with them, and the reason they are only getting three stars, is because the flavor was minimal. Most of the packs taste like regular seeds with salt and sometimes there is a hint of some other flavor.

I understand we all need to limit salt intake, but these are just to bland for my preference. Otherwise I can't say anything bad about them.

If you are the type of person who thinks ketchup is spicy these might be the seeds for you. I bought the variety pack because I like trying out different flavors. I live by the the idea that variety is in fact the spice of life. Upon sampling all 8 “flavors” of this variety pack I would have to say that all 8 flavors have one unifying characteristic… they are super bland! I started with the original as a baseline and should have just stopped there… nearly all of the packs taste exactly the same other than the cinnamon toast seeds, they tasted like the original seeds that caught some of the cinnamon dust that flew out on to the counter when unscrewing the lid on the spice jar. Also the SHELLS are massive… jury’s still out on the actual seed size? All in all this was a total waste of money and I wouldn’t buy it again. I was ready to get torqued with these seeds but someone showed up with 1/4in drive when we requested 3/4 drive!

Edible. I should have listened to the reviews that said they were mid, lacked flavor, had many bad seeds, lacked crunch and texture. I just don't understand the hype with these seeds. I ordered the variety pack in hopes of finding a go to flavor that I could order in bigger batches. At first I thought maybe the flavors I opened first had weak flavor but the lack of salt, flavor and hardness of the seeds was consistent across all of them. The Cinnamon Toast have a burst of flavor that's gone in seconds, they just don't hold their flavor. Jalapeno Ranch and Hatch Chili have zero kick. These are edible. I expected them to be at least as good as Bigs and David and hoped for quality on par with cha cha, nope. Save your money, look elsewhere.
