Cheap, weird feel when jumping
I'm an avid jump roper, but I don't really do anything fancy. I jump rope for 3-4 minutes in between MMA sparring and hitting the heavy bag. I prefer speed ropes but have used weighted ropes before, this one sounded like it was somewhere in the middle so I decided to get it. Initially I balked at the price, almost $40 for a jump rope sounded awfully steep and in this case I was right.Firstly the jump rope itself isn't any sort of cable, it's just a length of solid flexible rubber covered by what's probably woven nylon, it's extremely similar to a bungee cord except it's not elastic at all. This looked and felt really cheap, I was hoping from looking at the pictures that it was a plastic covered cable. I have 2 issues with it, 1) it's really cheap looking and feeling, it started to slightly fray on my very first set with using it on a rubber gym mat, I can only imagine how it would look after a few hours of use. 2) the feel is off, maybe because it's not heavy or light but it just felt like it wasn't cutting through the air at all. I've used plastic covered metal cable heavy jump ropes and even though they were heavy they cut through the air letting you get a good rhythm, these just kind of clunk up and around. The ball bearing system seemed ok, it's possible that was part of the issue.By the way if the seller had answered my question on Amazon I might have been better informed before buying these. Pay attention to your potential customers! It makes me weary of what post sales customer service would be like. The handles are just ok, they say they are steel but they really feel like aluminum to me, that's actually not a bad thing but they did feel very very light. They are hollow and you can feed a few inches of the rope to make it shorter. It's a shame because it's a wasted opportunity, if they included metal slugs you might have been able to interchange them to change the weight. I didn't feel super confident holding the handles and speed jumping, they were sturdy just not very ergonomic and not form fitting to the hand at all. Shortening the rope itself worked ok, but to shorten any more than a few inches would require cutting the jump rope, that's fine if you are ok with permanently shortening it but I was hoping to have my shorter daughter be able to use them as well. Plus as anyone who has cut a bungee cord knows shortening causes a lot of fraying unless you heat seal the ends, not something most would think to do.Overall these just seemed really overpriced and not really very functional for an avid jump roper.

Great Jumprope
I love this jump rope!! I previously had a speed rope that the cable would continuously tangle. I was looking for something heavier and my husband suggested this rope. I can feel a difference during the first use. This rope does not tangle and I get a nice cardio workout including my arms. It was easy to cut the rope to adjust the size and I like that I can store a little bit of the rope in the handles to add or take away a few inches if needed. I like the thick cable and the rubber protector that’s included.

Not heavy
This is a normal/cheap feeling rope...with very slightly weighted handles. Completely misrepresented in their advertising. Will be returning.

Heavy rope
I like the fact it’s a heavy skip rope. It nice to hv an option of lighter/heavier rope. All good. Thxs for fu.

Best Jump Rope Ever!
This is the best jump rope I have ever used. Great quality.

Not as advertised
Seems like a good product but there is no "black adjustment clip" referred to in both the product description and instructions. Instead there are just two white plastic sliders that, once you adjust it, you can't go back. I'm not sure if it is an assembly flaw, or false advertising.

Awesome
Love this jump rope. I am 6’3” and finding jump ropes long enough is a challenge. This rope is quality.

Good rope! I like it.
It’s a some kind a fancy rope. It’s not really weighted, but somehow it kicks your ass. It really burns your shoulders and upper back. It’s like an intro to the weighted heavy jump ropes.
