Original Toy Company Rope Climbing Ladder for Kids

This rope ladder arrived in record time, amazed at ship time. The product itself works great and is very easy to install to a tree branch, play house, etc. with the ability to anchor the bottom of the ladder with stakes or bolting to structure( not included). I used mine for climbing up the side of a kid fort. My 9yr old absolutely loved it. The wood rungs are very solid and the rope is thick and durable. Very pleased with this choice.

I have this installed in a kids area at a gym I own. It is by far the most used item in the space. Kids from 4 to 10 years old just love to hang on it, swing, climb, or camp out at the top. In fact I've had to warn some parents to stay off of it. Despite daily use by many kids of different sizes, it's holding up just fine. The rungs are a little scuffed and dirty now, of course. If that was important to you, you could put some sealant on them before installing. We're remodelling the kids' space and taking it down was easy, no knotting or cinching, I was able to remove it easily.Am seriously considering getting one to put up in my kids room.

Looks nice and seems solid. I did hang my 170 lbs off of it for a minute and while it certainly isn't made for someone over 100 lbs--it seemed sturdy enough. As others have commented, a bit tough to enjoy as it swings around (from side to side and in circles). I bought a couple of ground stakes and may try staking the bottom to one spot on the ground.Seems like it would be a nice way to climb into a childs play platform / fort / treehouse with a hole in the floor--so the child would have something to brace against as he climbed. Happy with the product--especially for the price.

My kids LOVE this. We can hook it anywhere! They love to climb and twist and swing on it. Good quality and value! Keeps kids active outside! No batteries or electronics needed!

It ended up being a little shorter than the specs would indicate. Good quality construction though.

I actually used this for my kid’s bunk beds, it’s well made, sturdy and safe, no complaints here!

The item description from seller was: Ready for your tree house or tree fort...6 feet from rung 1 to rung 6...16 inches wide...Great for indoors or out. BUT when I opened the box there was a notice that clearly stated NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE. INDOOR USE ONLY!! I got this for an OUTDOOR playset and now it says its not safe for outdoor use. Ridiculous!!!!

This is advertised as "six feet from first rung to last rung" when actually it is more like four and a half feet; the total length of rope is 6'. The rope is the type that stretches so that over time it may actually end up being 6' from "rung to rung". The knots for the rungs are simple 1/2 overhand knots and not tight. The bottoms of the ropes are supposed to have plastic retainers - only one side came with it, the other was missing and the bottom rung was ready to let loose out of the box.Overall, this looks like "seconds" from a cheap factory in China. This is garbage and I have now spent the extra $10 for a higher quality product.
